Bianca honestly isnt a "villain", she isnt even really an antagonist. Like wednesday came in and immediately attacked HER. Sure they have their "enemies" thingy going on but through the course of the show its really noticable how bianca isnt just a mean girl

I'm not sure why people think healthy competition and rivalry means "villain vs hero". It's such an unrealistic idea. A person who doesn't like you isn't automatically the villain. The worst thing Bianca did was compete unfairly in the Poe Cup. I don't even think what she said to Rowan was overly cruel, it was just an uncomfortable truth spoken without sugar coating. Not much different than how Wednesday speaks to people...

did u even watch the show?! that was the whole point, to give Wednesday some actual character depth and development, by not always being cold and dark, which yes shes supposed to be but it would just be boring watching a show where the protagonist doesnt learn a lesson or develop some sort of character trait from the plot. also u evidently didnt watch the last episode in what happens to one of the romances

jenna playing wednesday as being so uninterested in both of them made the love triangle actually entertaining for me lol. it was just these two boys frantically chasing after her and wednesday just couldnt give a shit about either of them most of the time, and i found it incredibly funny. it also highlighted her dynamics with other characters like eugene and enid by just how differently wednesday treats them compared to other people
I DO NOT BELIEVE Bianca is a bad guy in this AT ALL. I see her to be a strong complicated character, who may be a rival of Wednesday, but the actress of Bianca does such a great job of portraying depth, that she is one of my FAV characters. How much of her character is Tim Burton, The writers, or just how phenomenal Joy Sunday is at acting, is up for (some) debate.
She wasn't bad even from her first moments. Striving to be on top is not bullying, not in any sense
Agree bianca is more of a competitive rival. Captain of fencing team, smartest student during the class, leads the choir, etc. But she is clutch several times during the season and her growth by the finale makes her easily one of the best characters.

People need to stop thinking Bianca is a villain just cause she's the queen bee of the school. She has an attitude, so does wednesday. She is the it girl of nevermore and this series gave her depth to her character in the later eps

What I love about Wednesday is that she isn't suffering from Social Anxiety. TRUST me as someone who is both an introvert WITH Social Anxiety, she never would have gotten on that dance floor, MUCH LESS dance like no one was watching. She's just introverted. And that's why I love her. With introverted people, being in social gatherings, being around a lot of other people, it doesn't give us energy like it does for extroverts.
It drains us. Hence why you might see someone you care about during the holidays go off on their own a bit. It isn't because they don't care about you. They do. Wednesday has shown she cares about people. She just prefers being on her own. And there's nothing wrong with that.
as an introvert myself, i agree. also i grew up as a dancer so i only ever danced with choreography given to me. school dances were never my thing. i remember once in middle school i asked my dad to pick me up from our Halloween Boo Bash. too many people; really loud music. i felt overstimulated and wanted to curl up in bed watching netflix.
and Wednesday being an introvert was especially noticeable after the Poe Cup. she was uncomfortable with everyone looking at her. she felt too much at the center of attention. introverts hate being in the center of attention. and she went off to be alone.

Who's going to tell Ash that the song she hears at 2:13 isn't Italian, but French... It's literally 'Non Je Ne Regrette Rien', Edith Piaf's most well-known song. It's arguably the most iconic song from the 50s in at least west-Europe. I barely know anyone who doesn't recognize the song in real life. I saw the French movie based on her life, La Vie En Rose, various times because of my mom. Plenty of Gen Z from Europe still knows who this woman is, even though she's been dead for decades. Edith Piaf is an icon, a legend.

The way Jenna plays Wednesday is just incredible. After watching her in this show it’s safe to say she a my favorite Wednesday. Christina Ricci is great and a legend also but Jenna is just insanely good. No one can compete.

For more context to Jenna's filming of her dance: The reason why they were just standing around her was because at that time she had COVID symptoms and even after she tested positive, they continued filming. Jenna unfortunately got a lot of backlash for it, which I understand why she was probably worried about saying no to filming while she was sick. She was around so many big names that maybe she was worried about being replaced. She did amazing though, I hope there'll be a season 2.

I did not see Bianca as a villain traited character at all. If anything they gave her a character that could be understood and not just seen as a popular girl when really she's just a competitive, honest, and say it how it is character. I actually liked how she wasn't focused as a bad person just as someone completely opposite to Wednesday.

The fact that this was just uploaded is incredible because the first I knew of Jenna Ortega was in Jane the Virgin and I JUST finished the finale (this is my fourth or fifth rewatch). Literally still have tears falling because I finished it like 5 minutes ago lol. I love Jenna so damn much.

Jenna's performance in The Fallout was ASTOUNDING. She should've received an Oscar nomination. She did get the HCA Best Actress Midyear Award nomination-but not enough. I'm glad it propelled her into other significant roles. I'm sure she will win Emmy for Wednesday. She's already got a Golden Globe nomination for it. She is just a SPECTACULAR actress with a HUGE career ahead of her. Loved her in SCREAM 5 -- (and YOU, etc... did not see X yet but looking forward to it). And, of course, can't wait to see her SCREAM 6 (Ghostface, etc). Not many are on Jenna's level-- but one who is, of course, is the amazing Ashley Ippolito. :)

YASSS this series is so good! the writing and dialogue is great and the cast is so dynamic and chaotic! i’m so happy people are getting to know miss jenna ortega! she’s been an iconic, amazing actress for so long and she ✨slayed✨this role! also, she slayed the dance as well! to choreograph that dance on her own while having covid is not easy and she nailed it! it shows how talented she is!

it was kinda obvious lol. i knew it wasn’t gonna be xavier cause that was an obvious misdirect. plus he was acting weird and the monster appeared everytime tyler knew where she was going.
