Remember when Giannis and Middleton had an argument during timeout because of miscommunication on defense and then right after the timeout Khris throw an alley-oop to Giannis, that's tight chemistry right there.

Watching the Bucks winning this championship was extremely special to me because I got to watch Giannis grow from being on a team that won 15 games his rookie season to NBA champions. Tim Duncan is my favorite player of all time and Giannis reminds me so much of Tim because of how humble Giannis is. Giannis is the reason I still watch the NBA. I am happy I have been able to witness his whole career. Giannis, never change, continue to work, and stay humble.

What I respect sooo much about Giannis is how family-centric he is. When the final buzzer rang everyone rushed to the field in celebration, yet Giannis remained calm and you could tell he was looking for something. He looked around for his family. Only after hugging his mother, wife, son and brothers did he finally give himself time to reflect on his accomplishment and breakdown in tears of joy. Even in the moment of greatest triumph, he gave his family time first before celebrating. Truly the people's champion! Cannot wait for Space Jam 3 with this guy!!

Giannis in interviews, always talks about staying focused, staying in the moment, not getting ahead of yourself, but it's not just talk. You can actually see it in his game. He never seems rushed, anxious, or overwhelmed. He stays centered. His game is somehow measured and methodical while also being explosive. And this is how you want to see a team win a championship, playing in this atmosphere, with fans in the stands providing real home court advantage and pressure. They had to win tough games on the road to get to this point and they had the weight of a city on their backs for the clincher. Amazing footage of an amazing run. So happy for their fans and their organization.

I really felt like he was going to leave the bubble and put in some extra work on that mid-range game and he took his game to another level and drops 50! When you consider the outstanding defense, I'm really having a hard time thinking of a better overall performance in a closeout game. Exactly. I feel like they let the toronto year slip. No1 to blame but themselves, that was their growing experience. The next yr they got the 1 seed again and all they got for it was pressure w out the benefit of home court. People then left that out all yr to call him a choker. Thats why it was ANOTHER brilliant move by Bud not to concern himself w the 1 seed this year. All that unnecessary pressure gone. Last yr a little more forgotten each day.

@@wisconsinwaterfowl8944 Honestly, it was The Last Dance. I started watching NBA after that and I wanted to support the Bulls, but they're no good, so I thought I'd just follow players I like.
The three players were: Curry, Kawhi and Giannis (in that order). As soon as Kawhi got injured, I started following the Bucks and I went from sort of supporting them, to cheering for every block or dunk, going through all time stats, going through the regular season stats and the players and their stats.
I can't believe how invested I was and how much I cared 😅 I still watch a lot of the highlights with one of my favourites being game 5, because I remember telling myself that if the lead got to 20, I'd go to bed (because it was around 4 am 😂) and Jrue Holiday just wouldn't let that happen, and came back in the second quarter without Giannis
