- Cinematic and Scenic drone clips and information about the town of Huatulco in the state of Oaxaca, Mexico. I had flown from Cancun this week and in to Huatulco. Today I would rent a bike and go all around town. I first went down to Chahue Beach, then to the marina and took my bike to head up to the viewpoints of Mirador and Mirador El Faro as well as a beach called palaya la entrega. I like the west side of Mexico more than where I had previously been in the State of Quintana Roo and the famous towns of Playa del Carmen, Cancun, the island of Cozumel and more.

@@sharonzettel9915 I've been talking to a realtor there and apartments start at at around 100k usd in town. My plan is to build a house and that can be done at around 110-120K USD . Just out of town.

Yes, people are outside here, but we have a mandatory mask law that is being enforced. Unless you're at the beach, or eating... or you are accompanied by a unicorn whose name is Chantal. Kinda like in Germany, LOL

Can't blame you for wanting to spend some time in Huatulco. This where I plan to retire, it has the best of both worlds cultural and beautiful beaches. Oaxaca with their wonderful gastronomy and traditions is close by and Puerto escondido if you want to explore the surfing community. Enjoy, William.

I was just there on the 19th of November, for like 5 days. It was beautiful and safe. I traveled solo and will definitely be back. Recommend aloha Huatulco for fun safe tours.

Hi! How was the travel during covid? We are supposed to fly out to Huatulco on Jan 1st for 5 days. Should I be nervous about the travel?
@@sallypatel2307 I flew from charlotte via AA and they just don't care lol. I landed in Mexico city and flew Aero Mexico and it was a world's different. Before boarding they took my temperature and had me fill a questionnaire. Huatulco amazed me, you must wear a mask at all time or you will be fine, most place take your temp and clean your shoes upon entering and last but not least they ask you to disinfect your hands. You will love it and you will be fine 😄. If you want tour info or places to eat or stay just let me know.

I visited Huatulco back in the mid 90's, we stayed at what was then the Club Med. I understand that CM had closed that facility and is now a hotel.
Beautiful beaches and very friendly people. Enjoy your stay there my brother, looking forward to more adventures on the Pacific side of Mexico.

Finally you¨ve made it to Huatulco, you´ll see It´s QUITE DIFFERENT to Cancún but the nature you will experience is something that really make your mind blow out ....I remember telling you ¨cause in you videos you show nature such as It is.......Greetings from Monterrey, México....

Huatulco Is a beautiful place I was there for two months two years ago.It is a bit of an adjustment as most days it is +32 Celsius which is fine by the water but difficult to take when in land hiking /cycling . Would like to go back if things ever return to some sort of normal.

You should go to zipolite , it's a nude beach !! Love Oaxaca try the tlayudas , mole, quesillo, etc etc !! The hole food !! Hehehe

Hey, I have great memories of Huatulco - visited in 2014. Really amazing beaches, such an amazing week - I like these places that are not mad full of tourists ( like me). The locals were happy to share their daily life with me and chat. Glad this video popped for me today. 🥰 Good times. Had to edit for the bike scene you described 🤣

Well done William. That was a good trip. I think that biking allows you to travel far yet still be engaged closely with the land and water and towns and people both at the destinations and along the way. And get a great workout. Huatulco is an amazing place!
The landscape It looks so dry and gray only because is not rain season, but when the rain season start at the month of (may - oct) all turn a green , at green color that u can imagine...

Hi William, Huatulco is one of my favourite places to visit in Mexico and I’m so glad your there because I was not able to go this year due to the lockdown. Make sure to go checkout Che Dieguito for some great empanadas and amazing Sangria and if you want a good pizza and Mojito the restaurant next door is good. Also go and take a boat tour of the 9 Bahias and go take a walk in the National park and if you want to go checkout a surf town you can take a 1.5 hour taxi ride up to Puerto Escondido.
Very underrated tourist area. Very nice... I will visit sometime.

Thanks for the great videos William, I have a ticket for Cancun on 15th December , then gonna travel south by bus in stages along Pacific coast, see you in Zipolite, but beware the UNDERTOW, it nearly killed a friend of mine many years ago when I was there , it is extremely dangerous, they don't call the beach "Playa de los Muertos" for nothing.
