also, i see some comments saying how some of these scenes aren’t comedic and i totally understand that. when i watch the scenes you’re referring to, i obviously don’t laugh. these movies are dark but i love them so much and i wanted to make something lighthearted if that makes sense. sorry if it came across as if i didn’t care about cinna dying or that there aren’t serious themes within the movies because that is not the case.

The funniest thing is Haymitch, says she is a strangely dislikeable person and she is, but everybody still likes her because in her interviews, she can moderately act OK, but a large part of why people like her is because Peeta Peter will majority of the time take over in social situations and it’s amazing
absolutely true, but also people see her good heart. Which is the reason why Peeta likes her in the first place. She really cares about others, before even realizing it and being able to express her feelings through words.

I am completely convinced that Gail and Katniss see their relationship in two very different ways. Gail sees it as a romantic love of my life relationship and Katniss personally looked at it as a best friend and brother relationship open till they kissed, and she still like don’t wanna be with you.
She cares so much about him and can't define her feelings, she really never think about that. Without the Hunger Games she probabily would end with him, but only after Gale open up with her about his feelings.
the Hunger Games forced her to process her feelings and she absolutely refuse at first her feelings for Peeta 'cause she didn't want Capital to control her private life and she saw Gale as "her past before the Hunger Games", as a safe space.
But Gale wasn't the right person for her anyway, 'cause he wanted the war and changes and wasn't ready to give up everything like Peeta would , 'cause he would have chosen Katniss anyway, forever.
