It really is a pretty lame story in the end.
Kinda sweet how he calls his ex-wife his "wife" during this story as during the time that this event took place, they were still married and while he is telling this story I believe they had divorced. He is just classy.
As far as I'm aware, they announced their separation in like November 2017 and divorced in 2018. I don't know why he isn't wearing his ring in this interview, but at that time they still were officially together. Plus, in my opinion, calling your ex-wife your wife is kind of weird, I'd rather say "my wife at the time"

Either way, I still think he is classy. it can't be easy being a celebrity and having three young daughters to raise all while having a decent relationship with his ex-wife.

The way he retells stories, it's like he's re-living them so he would be in the present tense so he would say 'my wife' because that's how it was at the time. People don't have to bring up changes or say ex or dead or whatever just to tell a story.
