I was looking for info about Papoose Flats and found this video. WOW, Look there's my Jeep, it's the gecko green one. I didn't know you shot this video, very nicely done!!!
I’m sure that was strange to run across your Jeep on CZcams. We just did a run with the club yesterday in Lucerne Valley. I’m still trying to get over all the new scratches and dings lol! I’ll post that run in a couple of weeks. Have you done any runs with the club lately? I hope you found some other videos you enjoyed!
@@tcsadventures That was the best club, l haven't seen them doing any runs. Been doing some runs with friends, but the main person passed away last year on the Old Mojave road run that we were doing. I've been looking around for other groups to go on runs with.
I’m sorry I can’t remember. If I had to guess I would say no. Almost everywhere we go we either have no or poor cell service (we carry a Sat phone). Thanks for watching!
Thanks! We did the run in the Spring so it wasn’t hot. Took me this long to get around to editing it. It was hours of video to edit so I procrastinated. It can take me 40 hours to get it down to this size when there’s multiple cameras running all day.
@@tcsadventures oh I can imagine. I was actually thinking about that when I watched it, that you must have ha quite a bit of footage. Well, it came out very good. Glad you weren't out there in this heatwave lol
I think it was out and back on Mazourka Canyon Rd to Mazourka Peak. I don’t remember going back another way, but I haven’t watched the video since I made it. Just looked at my Alltrails app and it shows it as a out and back. Thanks for watching and I hope you find some more videos you like!
@@tcsadventures I’m mapping this out for my next trip. If you started in independence and ended towards the narrows I’m guessing that means you popped out on Death Valley road, unless you doubled back and came all the way back to Mazourka canyon road
@@kj4362 We definitely started in independence off the 395 on Mazourka Canyon Rd. Just not sure how we came back. I’m thinking we came out further north because I think we had a longer drive to get back to Lone Pine - where we were staying.
Ended up completing the trip, entering in from the west and descending down Mazourka canyon road after staying the night on Papoose Flat. What a BLAST! After watching your video you did the opposite of what we did 👍🏻

@@tcsadventures you welcome. I am from Hunza Valley Pakistan
That’s awesome - two adventure channels from opposite sides of the world!
@@tcsadventures that's right my friend but your adventure is outstanding
Is there cell phone coverage up on the flats? Great video.

Awesome video 👍
So cool to see the whole family driving off road. Nice work as always! How hot was it out there?

Nice new decals on the jeep lol
Yeah a couple of those sounded pretty bad, but don’t look too bad. I think they’ll buff out when I get around to it. Have you done that run?

Awesome video! Was this a one way from Mazourka Canyon rd to Death Valley Road?
