The bible doesnt call out Gambling specifically, but it does warn against greed, love for money, and get-rich-quick schemes, and Gambling fits all of those descriptions. I would argue that Gambling should be treated the same way the bible views Alcohol, which is, "You can have in moderation, but beware it's addictive nature, and be very careful to not let it gain control over your life"

On the one hand, I don’t remember off of the top of my head if there’s anything in the Bible against money gambling. On the other hand, there is a lot in the Bible against looking to anything but God for “the answer” as I like to call it, and gambling has a tendency to promote that. That given, intentionally tempting others to sin is definitely a sin itself, as “God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does he tempt anyone.”

Other than alcohol, none cause suicides in the thousands, like gambling does. Gambling is a lot different from other businesses because it is addictive, on one hand, and it causes large losses of money on the other hand. This is the perfect combination for destroying one's mental health, a combination that only drugs have.

Hell, I find it worse especially with insurance companies because they make people pay so much but when it's time for them to do their jobs they never come through.
