Techincally, if he's ignoring the law of inertia, then the infinite mass punch wouldn’t be possible cuz that would mean he doesn’t gain inertial mass which is essentially the resistance of an object to change in speed, according to E=mc². The infinite mass punch relies on "Relativistic Effects" (according to Einstein's theory of relativity)
But since it also says that his quirk can somehow bend physics then he can technically have control over relativistic effects

To clarify, inertia isn't a force. Its just the way matter works: it keeps doing what it was doing before unless a force acts on it. So 'ignoring inertia' means that he doesnt have to exert a force to accelerate because his body being stationary means nothing without inertia.

Not to mention, if there isn't a limit to how many things he can affect, he could alter his own speed while slowing his enemy to a crawl. If he then punched them with 50% powered hits 100 times using his new speed in one single area, that area of his enemy will essentially receive a 5000% punch as they simply won't be able to process the first 99 hits before the final 100th.
However, given how powerful Deku has become, I feel like one of the fan theories will come true and he'll go back to being quirkless when AFO is defeated, OFA being free of its burden.

I will never understand how AFO ever loses to anybody. In a world of billions of people with very specific abilities there is ALWAYS the right quirk(s) to beat anybody else.
AFO could grab Mirios quirk and Midnights quirk and throw some power-up quirks on himself and boom, he's a flying untouchable, unhurtable ghost man spraying billions of tons of knockout gas into the atmosphere. Everybody who breaths is done.

Deku was a hero the very moment he decided to try and save Bakugo while every hero just stood and watched him being attacked(before he even got one for all). So yes you can be a hero without having a quirk. But being the best hero ever is what really required quirks in MHA.
The drawback of it is also intense so that means he can't use it for very long as it essentially kills him. He said it was getting hard to breathe and his cells were basically dying if he didn't take a break from using it and he wasn't even using it for a few minutes.
Deku said that his cells did not have time to absorb oxygen, which is why Deku is gradually suffocating, but this could be due to the fact that he used this quirk for the first time

He should be able to use it on his whole body so the cells keep up when he masters it

What I'm hoping is that the current battle isn't the final battle. I'm hoping he meets up with eri at some point (or a new character with an op healing quirk) and he gets restored to full power. Because everyone wants to see a fully powered villain vs a fully powered hero. Even both the villains rn are badly injured.
@Unreal Mixtzure eri rewinds overhaul, overhaul overhauls Deku's body to withstand 100% OFA. Then again it makes more sense if All Might dies to complete his vestige in OFA. Then maybe Deku will unlock All Might's muscle form or have a quirk awakening that allows Deku to use an "avatar state" and completely negate all side effects of using OFA and the other quirks at full power. In all honesty, i think All might may have had a quirk this whole time. That being the ability to negate all side effects from any quirks he uses. It would make sense why he had a muscle form even though he had no quirk to give him that since the muscle form would give him the strength to use OFA at 100%. Logically, it would also give Deku the edge needed to defeat Shigiraki as they both fight on equal footing as vessels at their full potential.

You guys lack intelect to understand, that its a manga. It has a certain laws. Like - mangaka can make mc OP, but the enemy also has to be OP, otherwise manga would have to end almost instantly. If mc is OP, and his nemesis is OP, no one else matters, so it makes manga uninteresting for a lot of people, as every side character is 100% meaningless and laughable. So yeah, thats why characters turn OP only by the end. There are few exceptions like One Punch Man, but the whole concept is much different than typical shonen.

@@lumosfan you do know that being foreshadowed doesn't automatically make it not a plot armour. Plot armour is honesty anything that gives the MC a higher advantage than all the side characters. Basically the plot protects them by means of coincidence, hidden abilities and what not. Literally, all the abilities complement each other even though he can't use it at full potential. Also consider the fact that no other OFA user was able to use the previous users abilities like this until deku. We also know that it's not a matter of just hard work but also the previous vestiges allowing him to use their abilities. So in short, it is definitely plot armour. Foreshadowing it doesn't remove the plot protection he has because he's not just surviving, each new quirk automatically makes him more formidable in the short amount of time he has to learn it and combine it.
Damn I can’t imagine how strong this combination could be if Deku uses 100% of OFA. I bet All Might would’ve struggled using THAT amount of power.

They are both inheretance quirks. One forces the target to give inheretance to the user or to revieve and inheretance. The other is a bit more traditional in that it transfers to one who recieves the bloodline of the previous user, along with any traits developed during its occupation. But both are all about giving and recieving an inheretance. Kinda goes to show how twisted it ends up being, yeah?
That's not how OfA works. Deku has multiple quirks because the previous users had quirks. He doesn't just develop quirks from nowhere. Deku isn't going to gain any quirks outside of what he has from the previous users (unless for some insane reason AfO gave him a qurik)

That's not the problem anymore. He fucked up his body big time and can no longer use it at 100%. If he ever uses it above 45% (iirc it's 45%) he will permanently destroy his bod due to the past injuries.

@@raphaelm7221 yes that is true. However his injuries are still there. And using black whip is no different than just bracing himself with a support item. If he was actually fully healed, he wouldn't need to brace himself and he'd be able to use it at 100% no drawbacks.
@@frazure757 before fighting shigaraki he was only able to use 45% in short bursts right before he attack, now he can use full cowling at 45% nonstop. He's obviously making progress but physical conditioning wouldnt be as rewarding as mastering his other quirks at the moment since he only had a month to get ready, considering the time and effort it took to go from 5% to 8% they had no time to get the remaining, 55% in less than a month

@Krrish he can't. If he does he will permanently destroy his arms. Even IF he trains for 1000 years. He damaged the ligament in his arm during his fight with muscular. If he ever uses 100% again, fully mastered it not, it will cripple him permanently.

@@lumosfan he used some bs like 100000000% against muscular. Not 5%. Though I doubt it was that high. It was most likely just 100%. That damaged the ligaments in his arms. The doctor literally said, if he did that 1 or 2 more times he would never be able to move his arms again. As for the 45% specifically, i don't remember where I read it so take that with a grain of salt. However him not being able to use 100% ever again (unless he has his injuries reversed) is confirmed.
@@frazure757 no it's not confirmed because the story itself contradicts this, in 1st war, he was freely using 100% and when in the hospital all he was told is that his body is stronger than the last time it happened so he'll heal, meaning despite his injuries he is still getting stronger, whether or not he'll be able to comfortably use 100% Is unknown, but he definitely will continue to grow stronger

Inertia is NOT the reason we cant travel at the speed of light lol. Wdym by ignore inertia even? Inertia just describes an objects tendency to stay in motion. The issue with traveling at the speed of light is just basic E = mc^2. It would require theoretically infinite energy to travel that fast.

the two main uses of this power are probably 1) being able to stop things instantly from high velocities and 2) being able to accelerate instantly, which both really just describe the same thing, which is instantaneous acceleration. since if inertia is what causes objects to require external applications of force to gain velocity, then he should theoretically be able to instantaneously accelerate by ignoring inertia.

The external force here is the air friction so technically speaking it ignores inertia specifically with the air, but unless it explicitly states it in the manga panel it’s more similar to removing air friction

I remember the fight between Deku and Overhaul, anime. He has demonstrated that Deku does share a similar skill to All Might, a type of mind body connection resulting in unconscious control and usage of all the stored quirks. “My Hero” is a work of art in many ways. You can tell the author learned a lot from George Lucas and Marvel, when it comes to storytelling. All while putting his own twist. It like a rollercoaster of emotions.

The reason that he's not time traveling is that he not that fast, well I mean he is fast but he can't even go light speed. Even with all OFA at 100% and gear shift and the other quirks all at their full potential he still can't move light speed . he can't circle the earth a couple times

If Deku reaches 100% full cowl, he will be 120% / 45% = 2.7x stronger than prime All Might.
