Messi has conquered football, its time to conquer soccer too
Soccer ⚽😂💯✌️
I love you for this comment!!! ❤😂 Messi! Messi!🎉🎉🎉
😂
Ronaldinho already did that
LOL, this is the first in my life I relate to the word soccer, this is truth!!
Messi has 4 ucl. 7th ballon d'or. 1 world cup n 6th Golden boots ..the Greatest player of all times..
He won everything… it’s time to relax in the beaches of Miami.
Relaxing in the sand is bad for you, you should try relaxing on the sand.
And get fat😁
It’s closer to home (Argentina) and a lot of Spanish speakers in Miami and he’s getting a lot of money from sponsors to move to mls which is not as big as Saudi clubs offering but it’s good enough
Lebron ain’t the biggest star in the states no more
Beckham and zlatan where in the usa and where bigger than lebron
Hell, both those dudes were in *the same city* (at least Zlatan was at the same time as lebron)
@@FF18Cloud zlatan is bigger LeBron is only famous in north america
Nothing compared to zlatan
@@terrybogars8933 Yes, that's why the qualifier 'in the states' is added
You forget Americans don't watch football aka soccer. It is not messi who is going to change that. Nfl, basketball, baseball and ice hockey are the primary leagues in the u.s
It’s just hard to believe we not going to see Messi, Ibrahimovic, Benzema, no more in UCL 😢.. indeed this is a new Era.
end of an era for real
I'm pretty sure one of the reasons Messi went to inter miami was for the possibility of being loaned to Barca
@@gerguren5483 🤞
Ibra last time playes in UCL in like 2015 or something
I hope so because I'm quite sad
Haters gonna hate y’all just mad he came to 🇺🇸🇺🇸😂
I'm honestly glad he chose the MLS instead of the Saudis. This will massively increase the amount of people watching the MLS. The Zlatan effect from a few years ago was big, but this is a whole new level. We need this because the next World Cup will take place in North America and what better way to make Americans more interested in football than letting them watch the GOAT in their own back yard.
Completely agree!
MLS needs to take advantage is fix a lot of other issues it has. MLS has always gotten boosts from stars but tv ratings have always slumped back down when those stars leave. Stars are great but if MLS wants fans to stay they need to give fans other reasons to care about the league.
He will also remain a legend. Like Pele, Cruyff, Becham, or Zlatan, he will be a superstar. Ronaldo chose money, and he is probably very happy in Saudi. But Messi's legacy will be deified in MLS, just like those before him
Americans will nvr be interested in soccer bc the culture is so different. The european and south american culture is very diff to american culture that highly influences soccer. It is what it is. Messi is a goat and ppl wil watch the sport but then go back to football, basketball, and baseball.
@@riot.love.88 2026 could very likely be the turning point. The biggest event in sports history, with the final in Los Angeles (most likely). Pretty sure everyone will be tuning in to a certain extent for at least that one month. Be ready to see sports analysts who most of the time don't know what they're talking about such as Stephen A. and Skip Bayless turn into absolute World Cup experts over night. 😂
We have seen MESSi play football, but now it's about time we watch him play soccer and let conquer it too.😅🙌🤦🏾♂️
Mbappe needs to go to madrid next yr if he wants to win ball d'ors and ucls.
5:41 this is a good thought, however, it's back to the original issue of La Liga's FFP, unless Inter Miami pays his FULL WAGES, or a high percent that would make it possible for La Liga to accept Messi registration.
I think the same thing but i guess Inter Miami is gonna cover his full wages while he plays in La Liga that is what i think honestly. because MLS season is closing after 1 months so that would mean 4 months no football which is not possible for Messi.
@@this_is_it_sports20 unless he gets to work and put miami in the playoff/ play ins what ever they called.
miami is 6 points behind and 6 places with 18 games left to make it up.... nothing is imposable
🔥🔥🔥Last saudi bid was:
$1.71 billion for two years + Messi keeps all commercial revenue😮💨😮💨😮💨 Still, Messi said NO🤯🤯🤯
Wow still shocked he chose Miami. But the quality of life will suit him better than Saudi Arabia. For a family man like him that’s worth a lot.
Are you saying that luxurious lifestyle is not fit for messi?
A country with LGBTQ, drug addiction, mental health, and hedonism is more suitable for a family, than a country without any of those issues. These comments just reveal people's prejudices. You people have learned nothing from the Qatar world cup.
Miami is not as family friendly as Saudi arabia
For a woman, living in Saudi Arabia is awful. Dunno how that’s family friendly.
Reports are that Cr7 is throwing a huge party for his Champions Lg Goals Record being kept in tact now😅😅
😂😂😂😂
We never thought it was in danger in the first place
@@steveagola9317 of course, because ronaldo is always inferior to messi he had to always accept defeat in every aspect of the game
@@afei4989 Ronaldo will soon join mls too don't keep your hopes up 😂
@@afei4989 if that's what you need to tell yourself to sleep every day its okay...
Welcome to the STATE'S MESSI 🥳🙌⚽💯✌️
Soon the team will change name to :
Inter Messi
Can’t wait to see Messi play San Jose earthquakes. Finally get to see Messi in person
There was rumors last summer that Messi will move to America. Great move for him and family
Great views on Southbeach 😎
I love how people keep commenting that Messi is gonna have a nice time in Miami .. which he will but he’s gonna have to do that on his own time. Inter Miami plays in Fort Lauderdale, about 2-3 hours North of Miami.
Plus side. Soccer will get bigger in the United States because of this movie.
The offer from Middle East for Messi is hyped up. They did not even want to offer him that much as would not make commercial sense.
How a club like Barcelona can’t afford a free player. They can’t pay $25m for 🐐 🐐 this is so sad in every dimension.
Look, the prospect of linking up with Keiran Gibbs was simply too much to turn down.
Barca never made offer and cant register till August what a mess I get the decision but this feels desperate shame bc its no about money
Pula görə getdi İnter mayamiyə deməli pul önəmlidi messi üçün
He has achieved everything he wished for and just wants to enjoy the game without the toxic demands. At the same time, having a long term investment and addition to his portfolio by gaining stocks just in case.
Messi is the king of fútbol
Hay algo detras de todo esto algun dia sabremos la verdad.
Messi went to PSG, he won the Qatar 2022 and now he is going to Miami, guess who will win the 2026 world cup!!!!!! part of the deal🤔🤔🤔
😂😂😂 with messi and fifa as partners, anything is possible
Not the US, nothing will stop us from be8ng horrid
Maka pulled a " ...muy likeo "
Is Miami relaxing?
Should have kept Phil he would have got the best out of the goat
hell be the next Pele and Beckham. Gonna dominate the league while chilling on retirement moneyand be the face of the whole League. Even tough he showed everyone this season hes still on top of his game
@1:50 That looks exactly like the goal he scored against Nashville (I think) in the MLS...it's almost from the exact same spot and he used the exact same move.
Do soccer teams look at film?
I don't play soccer, never played soccer and don't watch soccer.
@1:50 Why did #3 defend him like that? Why would he try to cut him off and give him a cut back? Why didn't he just contain him, deny his left and push him into the other defender that was in front?
Defending him seems pretty simple, in this case, if you don't try to steal the ball. Is it really that hard to just contain him? Don't try to steal the ball and deny him space/angles towards the goal. All you have to do is stand there in front of him. Don't *do* anything.
Force him to make a difficult pass through traffic or pass it backward away from the goal. If he makes a pass through traffic - live with it. That seems better than trying to steal the ball and making a highlight.
Saying that, why would #3 try to steal the ball in the first place? Is he some kind of lock down defender or something? I've seen some of his [Messi] highlights and a lot of people try, and fail, to steal the ball.
Why?
It seems like it's well known that he likes to go left but I haven't seen anyone attempt to deny him going left.
I'm used to watching basketball and that's common knowledge on how to deal with good players even if they have good dribbling skills.
He bout to lose a lot but the MLS is about to make so much
Once the MLS brings over Ronaldo, the Classico will be back on in a certain sense. Not all the way but nostalgic for sure. Give it time, you’ll see. We are certainly in a new era of football.
Do you understand the El Classico has a political history, right? It has nothing to do with the players involved.
I watched ronaldo once. Finslly i can watch Messi here in America!!!!!🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Beckham is just going to loan him for 18 months to Barcelona
Nope
Exactly!
God hear you
Messi always played with great players around him that fit the system ,Now you could imagine him playing with bunch of zero scales team mates, It would be very frustrating event to watch "
No remember broken Barcelona
still better than vitinha, soler, danilo, etc in psg tbh :)))
I mean he won a world cup with Christian Romero at centre back so I think he'll be fine carrying inter Miami on his back
if you live in the US why are some of y’all upset? we finally have the chance to see him play
1:55 the biggest joke Iver ever hear in long time
Psg doesn't care about ffp cause basically they're the owners of Uefa and Fifa with Qatar and Al kelaifi being so close as partners with Infantino and Uefa so absolutely not, they ve been breaking all the rules with any aftermath
Just conqueror....!
He's seeking refuge because Barcelona aint going win the CL and he feels he can dribble the mls players easily
Simple. Barca literally couldn't sign him no matter what. Then .. There's just no benefits other than a big cash payment to going to Saudi. In America he can build a legacy and investments as well as living in a country he and his family would actually wanna live in. Remember... Ronaldo also would have come to MLS over Saudi, but he legally* cannot come to the USA.
(Upon further review apparently the DA is dropping his SA charges so he probably could come play and not get arrested)
Why can he legally not go?
@David Montgomery lmao trueeee... SKC with Ronaldo would have been wild
@@msmanchez626 well looking into it again (it's been a while) it's apparently been dismissed but he did have a warrant for DNA samples etc for a sexual assault case out in Vegas. He could end up arrested if Ronaldo came to play in the USA. Lol
I think case was closed after he paid the accuser for a second time…
What if he’s playing in the next World Cup for his NT? Is he able to play in the US?
I think going to arabia would be too much cultural shock to him and also his wife want to live in miami
Lmao! Among the drug addiction, hedonism, mental illness, and violence. Ya, great choice
@@abumansaray7 it seems like you don't understand
@@Rivan98 you didn't say much
@@Rivan98 Messi has been to Arabia many times, I don't think he would be shocked.
1 billion tho!
Anyone watch Inter Miami ? I know they had a rubbish coach in charge but what kind of football do they try to play ?
Messi going to Miami is sus because America is hosting 2026 wc and he goes to Miami until 2026, penalty for Argentina, if you know you know.
Hypothetically inter Miami misses the playoffs? They're the bottom of the mls, it'll take a miracle and a half to fix them
Simple, him and his family would like to go to Miami
Messi be them guys if is woman tell him no talk to his friends again he go do
Bro rejected 1.2 billion deal because his woman said she wants him to go play in America.
Bro, is it really that hard to do research? Why do people keep regurgitating this 1.2 B bs? It is not 1.2 B ffs.
Now the Goat will define the American's the difference between football and soccer 😂
At least we know now MLS is NOT a retirement league. LOL
No one watching MLS
Money money money
problem but needed
Cristiano move to Arabi why..mm
If it was only money he would have gone Saudi. But there's no other benefits to going there. And Barcelona literally couldn't happen. So, Miami it is.
@@BeefLettuceAndPotato that is not true tech company like apple and addidas will give him the money
@@BeefLettuceAndPotato if its not money why he is not stay Barcelona
The World best player for 2022-23 season plays in the MLS, hahaha. BTW Barca just dodged a bullet, Messi is not going to joining in the high press so he would have been a problem for Barca. He can walk around all he wants in the MLS, no pressure just vacation on the pitch.
All the while, getting to make a killing off all of those extra kit sales, streaming subscription sales, be the reason why MLS ticket prices are up 6x for every game against inter miami ... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ yeah, he has it made.
Plus, i mean, it sounds like he'll be getting a cut stake over an mls team, so, since san diego's getting a team, messi has a clear position to ownership in a safe-to-own league
Correction, Lio and family didn't want to risk another dismissal from Barcelona and be forced to rush around trying to find a team to sign for and end up in a place they didn't want. This is what happened when he had to sign for the only team available in the summer of 2021: PSG when the transfer window was about to close, thanks to Barca's awful timing. He and his family didn't have a choice but move to Paris and live in a hotel while trying to have a life as normal as possible, away from Barcelona. This is why they consciously decided for Miami, a place they are familiar and comfortable with.
@@mannyb7949 I heard him say that but that's just an excuse. He knew the Barca situation so why did he entertain joining Barca in the first place? World best player should not be in the MLS. He has low ambitions and not prepared to commit to a rigorous Barca team schedule where he would be forced to do more work.
Barca has been playing in Europa league since Messi left. Messi walked his way to a world cup though lolol
@@yenkassa They tried to work out a deal with Barcelona, what's wrong with that? (while considering other options), if he went to Barcelona at the end, the team had to get rid of many players in order to, financially, accommodate Messi which something he didn't want to do, he didn't want to cause other players lose their jobs at Barcelona. As for low ambitions, that's head scratching, the guy just won the WC, I think he already earned the right to go whenever he pleases but he would have been equally low ambitious if he went to Saudi Arabia, do you agree?
Barcelona just need to move on from messi and focus on the future
The goat go to united states
Messionqueror....!
They will pay him under the table - no way he was going to Saudi he's not a big fan of Arabs lol esp after the World Cup. Also he doesn't even need to learn English in Miami !
Poor messi he had to stay at a 5 star hotel in paris and deal with traffic that's why he couldn't perform at psg
I think him and his family being threatened might have had some influence
@@jay41234So go to the US, especially Miami, where crime and chaos are rampant.
3:51 Messi is already a millionaire and he’ll always be with all the sponsors he’s got. If he wanted to go to Barcelona he could have make it happened. Time to move on
A big "Thank You" to Messi's wife for saying "no" to living with the arabs.
So she is prejudiced, and you are praising her. Of course, Spanish people are racist, as usual
Messi i want you to know that Galaxy is the biggest temm in MLS futbol😂😂😂 don't get mad 😂😂😂💪🐐⚽
Cr7 should be very happy Messi had come to US not Saudi other way he will have another record that cr7 never ever can be reach and he will get crazy 😂😂😂 (1.2)b$ for two years
MLS is nothing like Saudi league though! Saudi league teams are competitive and almost every year they win the Asian title. + they beat Argentina at the WC! So maybe Messi is scared to face Cr7 lol
@@baseln1172 yeh Saudi beat Argentina as Japan beat Germany or Korea beat Portugal then what was happened?? 😂🤣😂🤣😂 Saudi league I think they are on the same path of china league Nothing much but lot lots money$$$$$$$$$
@@tonyvovo4652 You’re not listening to what I said! Saudi teams are winning the Asian championship almost every year! I brought up them beating Argentina because they’re the second country after Brazil that have all local Saudi players who defeated the World champion. MLS might be ranked what ever but have you heard teams in MLS wining the North American League or European league before? Plus in the US we football and basketball are the dominant sports! The Saudis in the other hands soccer is the dominant sports in the country
@@tonyvovo4652 And if you don’t believe me just ask uncle Zlatan 😆
The tax man was after him in Spain. And, Saudi Arabia shouldn't have beaten Argentina in the World Cup. LOLOLOLOL
😂😂😂😂😂
Is Messi gonna learn English now
No, cause he's coming to Miami
Messi > Europe
Messi will have as much impact on the MLS as Gerard-NONE!!! He's on a terrible team and isn't getting any younger!!
How much is he going to make doesn’t the mls have a cap on salary
Hes getting percent deals from adidas & apple.
If im not mistaken, considering rhe gravity of the player, i dont think it would just be only inter miami paying his salary, but that ALL of the mls teams would contribute something because, messi coming to the MLS helps the whole league
Each team has 3 players that can have salaries above the salary cap, so Messi will fill one of those spots with Miami
Lol
Us Soccer League: Messi, why did you come to Bikini Bot... err I mean Miami to play soccer?
Pessi: I like MONEY.
USL: Any other reason why you chose Miami?
Pessi: Money.
You mean like the one who got rejected by every European club and eventually play for money in saudi?
lol Messi got offered 1.2 billion euros from Saudi Arabia but he rejected it cause that camel league is beneath him.
@@notreubensandwich sure! It had more to do with Ronaldo being there. Pessi has always been a quiet kind of dood that doesn't want conflict, so most likely out of respect for Penaldo, he didn't join the Saudi League.
