i didn't used to have mai in my top 6/7, but lately she seems essential to the group. she's able to shine with very small parts without overshadowing other members when it's not her part (which takes a lot of instinct in creativity and stage presence), is positive and friendly in team settings, adapts well to different concepts, and is a quick learner. she seems like the kind of person people will praise for improvement in the years following whenever/wherever her debut comes. overall, she, jiyoon, fuko, saebi, koko, jeemin (and jungeun) seem most compatible together as a group atm

This is my personal opinion on Sujung. I am someone who believes attitude makes the person regardless of how talented one is. Seeing her gossip about Mai behind her back, not wanting to help her and only thinking of herself really puts me off. Even if it is a competition, she really shows no sportsmanship and definitely not a team player.
From a friend perspective, I would have been hurt and sad if I knew she was talking like that behind me. It would create awkward atmosphere for both. Knowing Mai, she would have helped Sujung if she needs help but Sujung wouldn't do the same. In fact Sujung's inferior complexity makes her gossip about her with other people instead of talking to Mai straight to her face. I've had friends who are like Sujung and these snakes are definitely a red flag. Those fans justifying Sujung's actions probably are the snake themselves if they have never met such person. The excuse saying she's just a teenager going through phases is old because even adults have this kind of toxic behaviour.
From an employer perspective, based on my experience no matter how talented or smart you are, if you have a bad personality chances are you will not get picked. It will affect the team's balance and chemistry. Even if you won many awards or graduated from Harvard with perfect scores, if you only think of yourself and can't work as a team then it will be a problem. Especially if you have a bad personality and are caught backbiting others. Sujung is too overconfident and competitive she lose sight that her attitude and mindset was the real problem. Not the producers and not the audience. Yes talent matters but you can rub someone off the wrong way with your attitude. Employer would prefer someone who might be average but humble and can improve quickly and are eager to learn and have no attitude problems like Mai than Sujung who seems too over confident and put other people down and makes fun of them.
From a religious perspective, backbiting is one of the greatest sins. To backbite is to gossip about someone behind her back. Secret slander is the essence of backbiting, and it is strongly condemned in the Bible as it tears people apart, divide their group, disperses their unity and creates a rift between them. They become at odds against hatred and enmity. In 1 Corinthians 5:11-13 regards this matter: We are not to keep company with those who call themselves brothers and sisters and yet backbite (revile).
ngl i find it hard to believe that sujung said that on her own accord. We all know mnet like to edit things and feed lines to the trainees. For example, fan yaning for gp999 said the producers told her to say that helicopter line and edited to make it seem more dramatic than it was

No because literally Mai was the member who Sujung definitely feels a type of way towards, 😬 if you remember especially since they were opposite leaders in the creative team in the past. And Sujung lost, once again to Mai and I think she developed an inferiority complex and part of it comes from the fact she doesn’t feel truly confident in herself.
So she finds it easier to put down Mai because she views her as a extension of the reason why she’s in the position that she’s in rn, when in reality it’s the producers who make the decisions and the audience, so it’s unfair for Mai to be in this situation and also for Sujung to be compared to Mai, overall it’s unfair to both girls but it makes sense why Sujung said what she said.
I think the people who say "But Mai and Sujung are friends! They looked so close together int he previews for the next episode" are forgetting that Mai probably didn't know what Sujung said when they filmed that. Idk if they would be as close; maybe, maybe not. Personally, I'd feel hurt if I was in Mai's position.

tbh, being careful with your words in front of the cameras is also a skill that idols must have, fame goes hand in hand with what you're saying or how you're behaving in front of the public and to be honest, the fact that mai was her OWN team mate made the public's reaction to her even worse. so in a way, sujung technically dug her own grave. she might've had some hard feelings towards mai but at the end of the day, you've come to compete for a position in a group. NOT SOLO. what's to say that the very member you're saying this stuff abt might be a potential debut member with you? you don't know that rn. yea, i know that this was more of an individual competition but that didn't stop jiyoon from helping mai, jiyoon is being a team player rn and it's working out well for her. tbh i admired sujung's courage to break out of her shell as a dancer in her iwaly performance but how you keep yourself in front of the cameras is equally important. not every idol may like their group members but they don't talk behind their backs, at least not in front of the cameras. overall, sujung is a good dancer but her chances of debuting after this ep? probably no.

what sujung said was not okay but she probably isn’t doubting her skills, i think she’s probably upset that she works hard and is talented but isn’t a producer’s pick. they seem to not like her but really like mai who is less technically skilled. doesn’t excuse what she said but that might be the reason why she didn’t want to help mai.

I don't blame Sujung for not helping Mai; she is in the lower half in terms of votes, so I guess it makes sense for her to be worried about herself, even if she is confident in her own abilities. However, I do not like how she stated that she wasn't going to help Mai, and then continued to talk about Mai's issue that she didn't want to help correct. If you aren't going to help and just pick on someone, you should stop talking about it then imo. Even though she doesn't have to help, compared to other people like Saebi and Jiyoon who help their teammates, they make her seem like a bad person.

I think that jiyoon’s part suited her well and she did good in it definitely the ace of that group, and I think Mai really stands out in smaller parts! Keeping in mind jiyoon is extremely popular with Korean netizens I feel she fit well with the center.
For lovesick girls koko should’ve been main dancer 100% but i feel bad for jungeun (mb if I misspelled) bc she ate that stage up but got no recognition (also Fuko for la vein rose) and I feel mnet will def start to edit her badly bc she isn’t have the biggest Korean fan base. SAEBI THOOOO she eats all the time so not surprised, she definitely deserved the #1, if she works on vocals just a bit more I’m sure she will be one force to recon with in kpop!!
For la vein rose I’m kinda upset bc sarang did better while auditioning for center but jeemin got it, she did amazing tho!! And sarang I’m so scared people are gonna not vote for her bc of her ONLY MISTAKE 😢 she has been amazing the whole time!! She is my#1 😭, gyuri did amazing and was in her zone! overall my fav team

and sujung really disappointed me 😢 she has amazing talents and stuff but I feel she got a bit to… (not in a bad or good way) cocky? Or overconfident. She got praised and then she started to talk bad about other contestants (her teammates) thinking she was better, not cool. But then again she can learn although the hate us somewhat justified. But, don’t hate my girl yuju for laughing 😭😭😭.

I think Mai has to work very very very very very very hard on her vocals its totally not okay if she debut with this vocals it will be unfair for other contestants who can sing better than her

And (maybe unpopular opinion) but vocals are not the only important thing for every idol. Group need at least 2 members with really good vocals, the other can be mid if they have other capacities (stage presence, dance, visual (catching attention & acting, not just be pretty)...), so Mai doesn't have the best vocal but she has other qualities :)
Moka have good vocals, it just that their current songs are on in her tone (look at their recent performance "when we disco", she was so good bc it was on a lower tone) and for Wonhee, she literally did a high note while running in r u next

@@Shreya_Blink As a Mai stan I am very aware of her shortcomings. I really love her as a person and her stage presence, but I know she needs to improve vocals. I think that others are more ready to debut, however, if she does make the lineup, she seems like one of the hardest workers on the show, and I think with proper training, she will not sound nasally consistently. Although part 2 shouldn't be that much about improving, if she does make the lineup, I'm glad she's working really hard to improve the vocals. I wish there would be more spots. I feel like Fuko, Jiyoon, Saebi, Koko, and Jeemin will likely debut. Jungeun is a need, but I don't think she will make it TT

Damn yeah😭 She is top visual. Maybe thats why the Show made episode of Mai’s vocal. So we can see her improment. She can become better. I saw Jungeon old competion videos and there she didn’t sing well compare now so stable. Maybe Mai can do that too in few years. 😭 Hope she deput. So pretty.

I'm going to start voting for Mai since maybe she's not that good at singing, but she has a tone of voice that is special and that will make it so that when you are listening to a song by the group you will recognize which group it is, she also has a good personality and her visuals will help a lot for the group to stand out, but, if you don't mind, I would appreciate it if you started voting for Gyuri, she is very talented, her voice is one of the best in the show, she has an incredible stage presence and her personality is too cute , please save her 😢

For lovesick girls Yuju in fact looked like the main dancer on stage she outdanced them all , and it shows her expressions were amazing and her dancing top notch , she gave her all 100% throughout the whole performance while other members were running out of energy a bit , we couldn’t hear her rap because she was sabotaged you can literally hear the difference in her volume compared to each of her member’s volume they deafened her mic and yet she still delivered the song the best.
If her mic hadn’t been deafened she would have gotten first place in the team , the reason I say this is because she got 176 with a broken mic and was only 20-21 points behind Koko and Saebi that goes to show how good she is
I still think Koko would've done a better job as a main dancer. Cause I feel like she focused more on the rap rather than dance
176 points because of her fans, not her capacities (it's the public votes and let's be honest, it's biased, literally Jungeun second last when she's one of the best contestant)
