This time I tested out the Stabilo Woodies! 😀 I wanted to know if they are as good as everybody says. And I have to say I had a lot of fun with them!

Thank you so much for sharing, I love the little creatures, they are so cute! I have the woodies as well and I really should use them more. To get rid of the sticky wax I use a heat gun, it gets absorbed in the paper, and unless you use water it’s not going anywhere, and the pages don’t stick to each other. You can also heat it just a little and use your finger to blend, just make sure it’s not too hot, it is a fun medium!

@@dawnborchert772 Yes I also use Caran’Dache .. I love them! It is a good idea to compare them someday!
Lamy had similar pencils, plus3, they are comparable, only Lamy has a beautiful dark blue, if you can get it open stock.

Die Woodies machen so nen tollen Eindruck 😍 Hab schon öfter drüber nachgedacht, sie zu kaufen. Mit Kindern kann man bestimmt auch tolle Sachen mit denen machen. Das einzige, das mich an so dicken Stiften immer stresst, ist das Problem mit dem Spitzer. Danke für das tolle Video 😍😍
Ja ich dachte auch ich hol den Kids noch ein Set. Man kann so viel mit denen machen. Klar muss ich mich schon dran gewöhnen dass Details im Kleinen nicht so möglich sind, aber es macht doch sehr großen Spaß! Werde noch ne Menge mit denen rumprobieren. These remind me of caran d'ache neo II's when I watch people us them. Are they similar? I think it was the Frugal Crafter Lindsay that cut one down. It might have been someone else, but apparently they are not filled to the end of the stick. Love what you did with them!! Thanks for sharing.
They are similar to the Neocolor 2, but have still this colored pencil feeling 😊 I guess, that there comes a point where you can't sharpen them anymore.. perhaps that's the reason they are not filled to the end 🤔.. but this is interesting.. Thank you so much for watching, Andi! ❤️

i didn't realize they were watersoluble, def makes them more usable and perfect for colouring backgrounds🙂
Yes they can be used in many ways.. 😊 they are just fun … 😀
I bought one just to test and see if I want to get more. At first I hated it but it is so nice on top of wet paper or watercolor. I want more. 😭

Ich hatte mal ein paar davon und fand sie auch toll. Jetzt nutze ich aber noch lieber NeoColor2
Die Neocolor 2 hab ich auch.. die mag ich schon auch lieber sind auch noch pigmentierter usw. Die Woodies sind halt toll für zwischendurch. 😆 im Skizzen buch. War gut sie mal zu testen.
Ich liebe die Woodies, hab leider nur ein kleine Handvoll davon, aber die sind einfach nur schön cremig, nur das anspitzen ist doof, wie du ja schon festgestellt hast, werden sie nicht spitz. Schöne Review, süße Bilder in deinem Sketchbook😍 LG❤

What is the texture like - They look like they are going on very silky/smoothly, is that right or are they more like traditional color pencils?
Hey Des! ❤️ They are more like water soluble crayons. They are sticky on the paper and you can layer them and scratch them off again. But with a colored pencil feeling somehow 😅 I hope this was helpful.. You can test them out next time we meet 😀
