Excellent review & demo. I have the good fortune to own one & they are fantastic instruments! The EMG’s have a vocal/singing/soaring type of tones that is truly unique. The build quality is top notch & it’s a joy to play & hear.

Reminds me of the Mark Knopfler model in the late 80's when It was Pensa- Suhr. My favorite pickups..... I've always loved the SA and the 85 in the bridge. I thought John only used Gotoh Floyds.??? When did he switch over???
I got this one aged cherry for my newborn son for him to own as a very special limited edition guitar marking the year of his birth. One problem with it is I feel the lower horn can be a bit uncomfortable for people with larger hands.
I would love to own a Suhr, but looking at the prices, I know I could never afford one. Doctors and lawyers can buy Suhr, but not an average working class musician.
