Like Warren Buffet said, dividends are only good if the business you’re investing into can’t make good use of that capital. So if you’re trying to invest into businesses with actual growth, looking at dividends is a waste of time. Why are you investing into a company if they’re returning capital to you because they think you can make better use if it than they can. It’s not much different from bond investing. The way I see it if you have a $1 million at some point, that’d be enough to create a portfolio that would pay you between 50k-70k in dividend income...
It's not difficult, but you have to learn and handle. Another thing is that if you can't manage your home, maybe you shouldn't invest on your own. If so, you should hire a CFP to help you diversify your assets to include ETFs/index funds/mutual funds and stocks of companies with consistent cash flows, rather than betting on penny stocks.
@@AUstinnesc A lot of folks downplay the role of advisors until being burnt by their own emotions. I remember couple summers back, after my lengthy divorce, I needed a good boost to help my business stay afloat, hence I researched for license advisors and came across someone of due diligence, helped a lot to grow my reserve notwithstanding inflation, from $275k to approx. $850k so far.
@@corrySledd Over the following 3 months, I want to increase my reserve from $280,000 to at least $550,000. I would be grateful for any advice you can give on how to accurately predict the market and how to diversify and balance my portfolio in order to accomplish my goal.

Major indexes booked their worst yearly performance since 2008 thanks to drivers like the recession, war, hiked interest rate and inflation which so far doesn’t seem to be easing off, so I’m left wondering what 2023 has in store for us investors, I’ve been sitting on over $745K equity from a home sale and I’m not sure where to go from here, is it a good time to buy or do I wait?
There are still quite a few stocks that make for a good buy this season, you just have to do your research. However, to be on the safe side and not second guess your market decisions, I'd suggest you reach out to a proper investment adviser for guidance as they are better equipped at understanding the market.
@Alexander Webber My wife and I were following this same trajectory. Last two years, I pulled out my money and invested with her wealth manager. Not catching up with her profits over the years, but at least I earn more. Haha.

I have been working with 'Stacie Kristal Weber" for about four years now, and she's made decent returns. If she meets your discretion, then you could go ahead.

A weak dollar can signal an economic downturn, making me to ponder on what are the best possible ways to hedge against inflation, and I've overheard people say inflation is a money-eater thus worried about my savings around $200k.
The stock market is a way to hedge against inflation. Most notably amidst recession, investors need to understand where and how to allocate funds to hedge against inflation and still make profits.
in my opinion, the impact of the rise or fall of the U.S. dollar on investments is multi-faceted but learning how to grow your money has never been easier than now that you can explore and experience a truly diverse marketplace passively by using a well-performing portfolio-advisor.

In the past, once inflation reached 5% or above, it would never go down without the Fed raising its funds rate above the CPI. Interest rates will either reach their greatest levels in more than three decades or we will experience an aberration. Very wise words near the end, I totally agree!
We are now witnessing global inflation. According to news reports, most countries compete with one another for products, food, and other necessities. Even nations with stronger rate management have significant issues. Although there was too much money, the nation's growing demand as a result of the COVID lockdowns was a bigger issue. When you factor in the Russia-Ukraine Conflict, staffing issues related to the pandemic, and the issues with the world's energy supply, it turns into a nightmare.
The worst impact of the current crisis is the rise in consumer credit card debt. Despite the fact that interest rates have more than doubled since last year, credit card debt increased by 20% in just April. Due to the severe inflation, consumers are essentially taking on debt to pay for necessities. Fallout is soon to come.

Wow, what a great and amazing video, it was interesting and educating. The mistake most people make is waiting till it is too late before investing. This is the time and season when bold steps are to be taken, wealth begins in the mind.
I love the fact you stressed on the words grabbing opportunities. But how will one know what to focus on, last year I invested into gold and got nothing meaningful.
Very funny, I also did that and got nothing till got to know of crypto currency investments. I have made a raw profit of $350k since November last year.

I found 8 Key Measures of Power for nations can be translated into each individual. Uncle Tony is so right. Everything has a pattern.
1. Education - both nation and individual apply, what do we know
2. Competitiveness - both nation and individual apply, what is our advantage in life
3. Financial Center - how we manage our finance
4. Trade - how we work with people, relationship
5. Military Strength - Physical Health
6. Output - Productivity
7. Innovation/Technology - both nation and individual apply
8. Reserve status - what are we and how are we
I am inclined to question Ray's evaluation of the percentage of the population is "far right" vs. the percentage of the population that is "far left." 30% right, 15% left. Please explain how you got to those number? It is my personal impression that they can't possibly be that out of balance given the events both social and political that are happening today. Please explain where this data comes from, or if this is a personal impression like mine, I think Ray Dalio needs to provide that disclaimer amongst all of the data he presents.

Ya ray is good. I agree with everything but a small bit. He says January six was about populists not willing to compromise. Maybe but there were FBI agents advocating for violence. The Arizona election data was DELETED the day before they were supposed to pick it up for the audit. And then the audit says they couldn’t certify the results. Like was that populists or was that facts?
And then ray says it’s during populists time that they don’t compromise and don’t follow the law. Like how can he say that? We didn’t follow the law in iraq? Like the movie official secrets it basically says it was an illegal war and so they dropped the case cause they didn’t want to open England up to international war crimes. The patriot act broke the law as it broke the constitution.
FDR stealing gold or banning ownership broke the law or the constitution. In 1971 when gold was then treated like a commodity it was taxed as a commodity not tax free as constitutional money. There was ZERO AMENDMENTS to do any of that. Yet they amended the constitution to freaking ban alcohol???? And then reamend it to not ban alcohol??? It makes zero sense how they needed an amendment for that but then hey it’s totally legal for the federal government to continue to take states rights and just bastardize the constitution in so many ways. Estate taxes are direct taxes. Read the constitution it says direct taxes are fine but must be apportioned among the states. Yet this isn’t the case. There’s TONS OF ILLEGAL or UNCONSTITUTIONAL LAWS. It’s just mind blowing ray thinks it’s just now all of a sudden laws are being broken. I’d agree the generic violence and street crime maybe up, but the benevolent and all knowing US government has been breaking laws for at least a century.
Ray is a card carrying member of the WEF. His job for them is as the trickster telling the future serfs the WEF lullaby to convince them that the collapse that globalists like him are engineering is fate.
He tells you--thr future serf, 95% truth and injects 5% calculated lies in order to appear magnanimous and convince you to accept the lies as fate, despite the fact that HE has engineered this outcome for you. It isnt fate.
He is turning you into a peasant and eliminating freedom and Constitutionality and convincing you it is merely a natural cycle that can't be broken--which is the same thing as fate. When he made mistakes, he eventually capitulated and joined the WEF crowd and was allowed to succeed and given a role as an emissary of authoritarianism.
Dont give up your freedoms to anyone, especially a billionaire who is literally a major part of the WEF and ALWAYS acting on their behalf.

Unemployment keeps surging and bills wait for no one that’s why we have to figure new ways to make an income, I came here to learn how to trade after listening to a guy on radio talk about the importance of investing and how he made $210,000 in 4 months from $35k. Somehow this video has helped shed light on some things, but I'm confused, I'm a newbie and I'm open to ideas

Good video!! Very attractive from start to finish. However, the wisest thing that should be on every smart individuals list is to invest in different streams of income that are not dependent on the government to generate money, especially now business and investing is the easiest way to make money regardless of what party makes it to the oval office.

Hello...Ray Dalio is an excellent student of history & I have studied the rise & fall of civilizations myself...There is one important aspect to military technology that we have access to that wasnt available in past conflicts - NUCLEAR WEAPONS ( NW technology has been developed & refined since the 1950s by USSR, USA & China)...
