Jordan's beam exercise was very satisfying to watch; it somehow reminded me of the oldschool Romanian beam workers. The choreography followed by immediate skills, no hesitation and great execution. I was pleasantly surprised!
That extra swing was counted as 2 the back and the forth without a skills thus possible 1 pt. She also lost the connection from low to high to the jager)
Jordon just needs a revamp on everything. Up her difficulty on all events. Jordon’s beam was flawless no bobbles and all connections ( little leg raise in dismount). Flavia beam however, was a hot mess. She had multiple boobles and lost of connections. (the pause in her mount series) single layout series verse two. Balance check after ring, arms on backspring )low chest on landing). She was given the silver and Jordon’s bars opened the door. Jordon’s floor had flaws as well steps and hops and lack of control in a few places and a lack of complex choreography (musical but not complex) Jordon also covered a near fall out of her wolf turn). Flavia’s legs on her double layout a mac truck could drive thru them and her steps and bounce backs were worth more deductions LOVE them both but Jordon was hit harder on deductions. On BARs Beam and Floor, and Flavia was given artistry point and a closer to home field advantage.
Agreed. Chiles - She needs to have a real stand out event, top 3 in a few... but tbh, I think she will play it safe and use mostly the same routines like she always does. sigh.
I really think OT one hand she's doing both college & elite and that is very tough to juggle both, not to mention classes & school work on top of that. OTOH she's doing gymnastics for the joy of it & for herself. She also hasn't peaked yet so she's got some time to prep in time for the Olys. Give her a break.
I would love to see them clean up their skills with tucks with their knees together, pointed toes, straight legs that are actually straight, get the fine points down pat or get the deductions earned.
i believe that every intermediate swing taken is a 0.5 deduction, so i would say the judges took 1 full point for that mistake. also, she lost connection bonus for not connecting the toe-on 1/1 to the piked tkachev + pak and for not connecting the maloney and gienger together. these mistakes affected her d-score and the extra swings affected her e-score significantly.
Chiles is NOT inconsistent! She consistently, makes mistakes when it matters! She has made major mistakes at every major international competition she has taken part in.....
I am very happy for Kayla and disappointed in Jordan. If she (Jordan) keeps this up she will be known for being inconsistent in competition and that does not bode well for her if she intends to make the team for Paris next year if life spares. I get that the competition was not of the highest quality but especially for that reason she should not be happy with a 3rd place finish.
Jordan's floor score seemed a bit low to me, but not 0.7 too low so she wouldn't have gotten the gold medal anyway. I think she was great here, Flavia and Kayla just had a better competition day.
Jordan wasn't tht bad. If she hadn't missed her one spot on bars she would have won. They all had a few mistakes. Atleast she held on to the bronze medal. The scores were very close. Congrats to them all.
@@Bxyxox I think it is important for SOMEONE to start to distinguish themselves as the CONSISTENT member of the US team after Simone and Shilese who can put up high 13's to mid 14's across all four apparatuses for next year's Olympics, and I just believe that these competitions offer such opportunities. Kayla might not have put up big scores anywhere but she was consistent enough in all of her routines to win the AA title, and I was looking for Jordan to do even better than her. I accept your take though that she needs to improve her stamina and will patiently wait to see what she is able to contribute going forward.

I hope Jordan gets a new floor routine. The music & choreo is awful
Just noticed how well Jordan's beam routine synced up with Jade's floor music.
Kayla Dicello looked great. Happy she came through in a tight race. Great bar and floor routines.
Mostra a rotina da final AA da Jade Barbosa! 4º lugar foi um grande salto do 7º.
Congrats to them all.🎉🎉🎉

I've been watching the live stream but missed thus yesterday Thank you for the recap. Their live stream sound system is horrible
❤❤❤

I didn't understand why Jordan score was so low on bars. I know she did an extra swing, so was it that?
She isn't allowed to not to a release or a swinging skill out of the shap do an extra .5 was taken

Thank you again! The official website has not worked for me!
No thanks for watching
Rebecca didn't do the all around ?
She didn't do floor in qualification
without Simone Still a great team
Chateado pela Flávia não ter levado esse ouro.. tava na mão dela
Her landings on floor was what lost it for her.
@@jamm1227she also watered down the routine, she was being safe or overly confident because she went before Kayla
Jordan no look happy ,sorry 😮

She has plenty of time before Paris. (Jordan)

She has almost a full year to improve her stamina which is the only real issue here

Que fique registrado! A Flávia foi roubada no solo!!
