Idk why but Testament just looks a whole lot more fun this season, in the past they kinda just felt like a bit of a boring zoner, but these pressure sequences and conversions are kinda sick
I'm a testament main and when I see testaments able to convert off of stray hits by using teleport it is the most amazing shit ever. I desperately want to have that brain power.
Just fyi Testament has recieved massive buffs in season 1.38, to the point where now I want to buy them so bad. TPing no longer uses up the succubus and now the moves just feel generally better
This set is so fucking metal holy hell, tp mixups, midscreen insane juggles and dustloops, frame1 supers on reaction, 20 secs varied blockstring, shimmy baits etc. Note this is close to a 7:3 MU for Anji.
Anji player here, the only reason testament was able to back dash was because the Anji dodged the projectile, not a melee attack, if you trigger the dodge with a melee attack you are unable to act for 28 frames, which is why it seems impossible to not get punished.

Yeah, but also, if they had delayed the timing it still would’ve caught the backdash, so it’s not a super reliable option, but it can work
