I was a freshman in college when that Beatles song was boot legged here over the airwaves in the fall of 1963. Their fresh upbeat harmony was unlike I'd ever heard before. No other rock song ever affected me so.
This song broke like a tidal wave over my generation and changed everything.
WE all remember where we were when we first heard it, like the JFK killing in 63.
I was in Mamaia (Romania), much later, maybe 1967 or so, I was 10. They wouldn't play this music on the radio, but there was this ice cream parlour on the beach where they had a jukebox with a treasure trove of rock n roll songs. Probably some connected guy brought it from the West loaded with these hit singles, half of them were Beatles songs. It wasn't cheap, the equivalent to 1 euro per song in today's money, but when not enough people were around, I'd spend my ice cream money to play my songs. I was spending hours every day listening to the forbidden music.
I'm 69 now, grew up on The Beatles, and as a result made a living as a Nashville musician most of my life. This absolutely knocks me out. Very cool!

I was 7 years old in 1964 when I watched the Beatles sing this on the "Ed Sullivan Show". This is a great rendition of this song that rocked the world almost 60 years ago.
The same year I left school.

It’s only one woman singing all the parts. Look at the video, all three are the same woman . Her harmonies are spot on. IWTHYH has a great melody ,and harmony parts . I’m seldom knocked out by covers but this was great. With that said. She should have added the handclaps , it would have made it even more effective. It was a great performance!

I wanna hold your hand…of course, who would not😉? It seems, The Beatles are your new favorite band and I am very happy about that (because we can await a long list of great songs from you). You rendition is great as always, I think there is no doubt about it. Your musical skills still grow from week to week.
But all this, is not really important. What really counts ist, that you seem to be very happy at the moment. I said it last week, you are glowing from the inside out and comparing this video to that from last week I now see a „sparkling diamond“ ( this is not from me, but from the film and musical „Moulin rouge“)at the very beginning from something, that can led to a tremendous career.
I really love it, seeing you so happy and hope this happiness will always stay with you!❤️❤️

Vreau să te țin de mână...desigur, cine nu ar vrea😉? Se pare că, The Beatles sunt noua ta trupă preferată și mă bucur foarte mult de asta (pentru că putem aștepta o listă lungă de cântece minunate de la tine). Interpretarea ta este grozavă ca întotdeauna, cred că nu există nicio îndoială în această privință. Abilitățile tale muzicale continuă să crească de la o săptămână la alta.
Dar toate acestea, nu sunt cu adevărat importante. Ceea ce contează cu adevărat este faptul că păreți a fi foarte fericiți în acest moment. Am spus-o săptămâna trecută, strălucești din interior spre exterior și comparând acest videoclip cu cel de săptămâna trecută, văd acum un "diamant strălucitor" (nu o spun eu, ci filmul și muzicalul "Moulin rouge") la început de drum, care poate duce la o carieră extraordinară.

In August 2020, with Andrei, Maria and Kalonica you performed this song for the first time and from then until now a relatively short time has passed, but look at you, you are quite a lady now. Your harmonies are clear and intoned, while your wiggle is subtle and feminine.
To be able to have the same cover in two different eras makes your work something very special... Hopefully someday I can see you perform live on stage and hold your hand, just like the name of this iconic Beatles song. ❤👫
