Talent is frowned upon today. This is a fact, I go to see live music and it's always horrible. People can play instruments but none can sing any better that this girl. Music has changed sadly

What's so frustrating is hearing the difference between this live performance and the official music video. Throw some $$$ at make up, lighting, effects, professional sound engineers, etc. Anyone can be a pop star. How many talented souls are singing in the shower and random karaoke nights? It's that pop folk rock & country radio hybrid sound. Just vanilla pop music to make bank. And with the right record company, promo and distribution they can sell it easily. And even with that simple proven recipe she is still clearly struggling due to her lacking vocal abilities as proven by the terrible national anthem that made her go viral for the worst reasons.

I've always thought that these new singers, since they have come up without singing coaches and whatnot, and get their fame through Spotify, IG, etc, simply haven't really worked on their craft.
Everyone acting like she was really “drunk” you can hear it hear. She was using the same auto tune rig. The reverb is identical to her anthem performance. Someone setup her auto tune to the wrong key for the national anthem or didn’t configure the key changes correctly. She’s just not a good singer. That’s all. Studio magic shouldn’t be relied on for live performances.
