Nice illustration of how the parts are installed with the cutout view. This is one of the few English videos I could find about these YSS fork upgrade kits.

Orientation of spring depends on the bike. For PCX150, the soft side faces down.

I think I'll get my Aerox done. Rear shocks, too.

I have an adv 150 and I am interested in upgrading the suspension.
I have been doing some research about your products.
Watching a video about the installation of your spring and pd kit on a honda nc750, in the video they had to drill out the original damping holes so that the only thing doing any damping was the new pd.
Why don't the original damping holes on the adv 150 get drilled out?
It would seem like the pd wasn't doing anything if the original damping was still active.

It's not necessary to disable the stock damper-rod by drilling out the holes?

For that particular bike with a small diameter damping rod I think drilling extra holes and enlarge the existing holes is a must. This is to make sure the emulator do all the damping. Done that to my bike.

But do you KNOW that for a fact? YSS told me not necessary and my local fork expert said no as well. I would presume the emulator is carefully engineered for each bike to handle the job of damping.

@@robertpinder2307 I think you are mixing up advice between instructions for the PD emulator valves and the cartridge conversion kit. When fitting the PD Emulator valves the damper tube must be drilled out so as to remove damping control from the original damping tube so that a good flow of oil exists that is then controlled by the newly introduced PD emulator valve. If the damping tube was not drilled with an extra 4 or so holes the PD valve would achieve nothing.

and the washer? How do you determine the adjustment of the PD Valve?
