In Poiana Braşov there is a ski resort of the same name. Facilities here include an ice skating rink, indoor entertainment center, and a water ski/sledding sports center. There are trekking paths on Postăvaru Mountain within the ski resort. In summer, hikers and cyclists explore the green mountain trails. Horse farms organize horse riding tours for visitors. The area is full of luxury hotels, hostels, ski shops and traditional Romanian restaurants.
