lip syncing
@@rjpg Listen to the vocals again…You can tell he’s live.
@@lew708 some parts of the performance he is lip-syncing especially on the bridge of my prerogative. You can’t sing and do two quick spins without a hard breath being between it. Even still it is an impressive performance either way
This is why I did not bat an eye when Whitney called him the KING of r & b. He was!!
no R.KELLY is the king but bobby is king of stage
Bobby was before R Kelly so yea he was the king of RnB
let's make thing before comparing bobby to r.kelly kelly is a true singer
Thelma Lee that would be accurate, yes he was and still is, he earned that.
Eric Magee the hell you think Bobby just earned that title from his looks LMFAO. He EARNED that title. He was and still is the king of R&B
I still love Bobby Brown from back when to now😀
New Edition should be the next Superball Halftime act PERIOD! #LEGENDS#

Anyone in NE having a super bowl performance would never happen, America wouldn't be down with that, but if it did happen it would've been amazing
James Brown brought the funk and the groove, Michael Jackson brought his electricfrying moonwalk and great vocals and then there is Bobby Brown swag, dance moves great vocals. Three incredible artist who all knew how to work the hell out of a stage floor. All three triple treats- can sing check, can dance oh yeah check, and last but not least mesmerising stage presence, yep check, check and check.
On point!
and Usher 🙌 🐐
@@andrearoppel7541 MC Hammer we're talking about ppl in the 80s/early 90s
Facts
@Michael Davis it is well known in the black community that EVERYBODY in show busness stole their moves from James Brown and Jackie Wilson, mostly from the godfather of soul. Also from earlier black dance entertainers. Bill BoJangle Robinson, Mr. Moonwalk, back slide himself Bill Bailey from 1943. He was probably during that move in the 30's as well. Brothers was putting down some smooth steps for the other nations to steal when those other entertainers were slumming in the hood in the day.
The move at 0:43 is an otherworldly display of footwork! Bobby was a true dancer who happened to sing!
Yo people be sleeping on Bobby’s dancing abilities, he basically paved the way for ALL RNB artist that can dance while performing
Dude was on Fire.
When American Music Awards were exciting to watch. I remember this performance. Blessed to have been around to witness GREATNESS at its prime. Not only Bobby Brown but music in general.
Bad boy Bobby Brown gliding across the stage is pure talent 👑loved new edition since I was 13 when they started singing and dancing 👑👑👑👑👑
Legends🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Say what you want about Bobby Brown. The negative aside, this man was an entertainer. He enjoyed what he did. Back in this day I was into rock music but I was able to appreciate the music/work of other Artists. Saw him in concert w/ a friend, good show. Thanks for memories B!
Nobody is perfect morally... But he is one of the best performers in history
I'm so glad I was brought up in the 90's. This man ruled that era. From award shows, late night show and albums, B. Brown was the MAN. I learned all his dance moves and YES..I had the Gumby....Music was more entertaining and had more depth then now. Don't Be Cruel is and will always be a classic. What this man accomplished, no one can take from him. The King Of Stage...
Well kids in my time, that's what we called a performance, you either had to sing the ish out of a song or rock the stage like a master, they were truly entertainers.
And he wasn't TIRED. Man hit them with a freaking freestyle at the end. Love Bobby Brown. When he is gone...he will be missed and like damn there will never be another MISTA BOBBY BROWWWN. 💯 Pure raw talent.
