There can be all sorts of reasons why players don't hit the ground running, take time to really settle and produce the goods. Sometimes 6 months or more. Sometimes they have to go out on loan before they can come back and prove their worth. All these fans saying 'he's a dud' after 1 or 2 games and 'now we're stuck with him for 5 years'. Now he is beginning to show what he's got he is already an important player for us.
