My sister Veronica Ingargiola Duffy bartends at Kenny's Pub and alerted me of this story.
SCRIPT:
A PUB CRAWL IN LACKAWANNA COUNTY HELPED RAISE MONEY FOR A LOCAL AMBULANCE SERVICE.
DOZENS TOOK PART IN THE INAUGURAL ARCHBALD PUB CRAWL CALLED "LEPRE-CON."
 KENNY'S PUB IN ARCHBALD WAS ONE OF SEVEN STOPS ALONG THE WAY.
 THE MORE THAN 5 HOUR CRAWL BEGAN AT RIVERSIDE LEGION AND ENDED THIS AFTERNOON AT EAST SIDE..
 PARTICIPANTS PAID 20 DOLLARS TO DO THE CRAWL, AND DESIGNATED DRIVERS WERE ADVISED.
 ORGANIZERS SAY THEY COULD NOT MISS AN OPPORTUNITY TO RAISE MONEY FOR THOSE WHO SERVE THEIR COMMUNITY IN SUCH A MUCH-NEEDED MANNER
Karen Rapoch, Event Organizer:
"We wanted to do something specifically for the taverns that support us all the time and more importantly the Archbald Ambulance. Rain or shine we we're out there having a ball."
Bryan Shabroski, Participant, Archbald:
"I'm also good friends with a lot of people in the Archbald ambulance and I think it's a great thing to celebrate the Archbald Ambulance because they are helping our community and they are great people."
EVENT ORGANIZERS HOPED TO RAISE MORE THAN TWO THOUSAND DOLLARS FROM THE EVENT IN LACKAWANNA COUNTY.
