Yep. This ebike has kept what works. The only issues I have are the lack of step thru frame and changing the controller placement.

Is the rack strong? Because it is screwed, compare to V2 is welded.
@mhmenrmn7521 a screwed rack is always weaker compared to welded racks. With that being said it's acceptable for food delivery unless the rider is constantly delivering grocery orders with heavy loads such as petfood or ice cubes
Seems like a decent ebike given the hydraulics though rack is not suitable for delivery and controller below seat post seems a step backwards, not suitable for delivery in the rain wherein most food couriers have to do in the rain somehow. In the past, many years ago, such ebikes cost about 300 to 500 sgd and much bigger. ..more powerful. Nowadays......sigh.....
Exactly! Singapore is tropical country. Rainfall happens suddenly. And about the ebike those are valid points.

No one is getting all these “new model” ebikes anymore,
never seen them on road after so many new model released, because is very expensive and the price simply don’t justify their value.
Actually i agree. It's going to take a year before they start replacing the current models.
Nice review, within the 20 inch ebike category, this looks really sturdy, however i can't get my concern off the controller placement, and the new type of battery which the connection is exposed at the bottom.
That type of connector and placement has been tested in other ebikes so it's ok. The pressure of the weight on the bottom pins will ensure no water gets in. But it would hv been preferable if they stuck to eco drive 2.0 controller placement and battery type.

@chinkelvin5816 actually i did have that doubt but i checked with an ebike workshop and they mentioned what i stated. Anyway u are most welcome 🤗
@@grabadventures I see, also one more thing I notice of is when the battery is detached during charging, and placed on the floor, will there be danger of short between the bottom collector itself. But this type of battery have the ON/ OFF switch using the key, so it might technically be switched off after deteching.
It's highly unlikely as the input side is shielded by the thick plastic casing. But have to be careful when inserting along the rail to connect as improper insertion can bend the outward facing pins on the ebike.
The Dyisland ebike looks quite stylo..

At the moment it is only available for test ride at drivebike showroom at sims road.

I am not sure if it is a new release. I saw it on their website. And went down to their showroom to take a look. There are 2 sizes. 62L which was sild out and 53.3L.
The side pockets are very useful as I can segregate my stuff and keep the main area fo food delivery.
I didn't eat drive this it feels really good to ride.

you may find it weird because i asked about your height. i’m 192, quite tall to actually get one ebike to ride comfortably for at least 7~8hrs at one go. i will appreciate if you could recommend me few ebike so i could test ride and get the feeling of it before condensing which one to get
192 😲! I am 176. You can try the 20" ebikes as they are the most comfortable and stable.
20" ebikes released this year for gig work are Drive sport, X20 and Leader. Maybe you can start with those? You can dop by ekolife or warehousesg as I believe they have the various brands.
This vs eco drive 2.0 which is better or more comfortable?
I hv not tried eco drive for an extended period of time. But this ebike is pretty comfortable and stable once u change the seat.
