In a world that lives on hedonism, pleasure and the pursuit of ever-greater satisfaction, such panic would result in a total collapse of the collective subconscious. As I sat there, overlooking Neoyoto city, I couldn't help but wonder how long can be keep their arrival a secret. What bothered me more was whether we would be able to survive their arrival. Even though we were now a type I civilization we were more than likely just one of millions in the universe. Perhaps their arrival will shake us out of our collective decline into pleasure-seeking hordes to a civilization that thrived in improving and progressing life. Perhaps their arrival will bring new knowledge that can help us expand our understanding of what it means to be alive...or perhaps their arrival will result in the destruction of life as we know it. The only thing certain is that tonight I can look upon a blissful city where everyone will sleep without worrying about the end of the world....if only they knew...the world had already ended

This reminds me of my childhood. Its like watching SciFi-Action movies from the 1980s and 1990s. Very nostalgic and melancholic at the same time.

As urban as the screen, and its ability to give this calming music a certain je ne sais quoi, am enjoying this surrounded by a beautiful landscape, and natures background music. A perfect match, I do believe.
Reminds me of the hovercraft from the Matrix movies when they were in the real world outside the matrix. That was a cool design.

Such incredible music and the art to go with. Truly tells a story. As if to say, even with ALL of this technology that has seemingly made the impossible, possible, we still are here, pondering the same old questions deep within our souls to this very day.
Listening to this mix, I can transfer myself to that cockpit in the visuals and look at the great wide skyscraper world ahead. I'm in a different world now.

@@daniel.phoenix I have listened to some pieces. They have a very stable melody. I'd say is not very memorable, but they give a relaxing and cheerful feeling, suitable for corporate music. I hesitate to say harsh words but I have to say it - they are unimpressive. Of course they are not meant to be masterpieces but exercises, and for this exact purpose I am giving my two cents form a layman's point of view.

There are certain works of art that give you the irrepressible desire, the need even, to enter so much they call you. I would like to sit in this cockpit, in front of these buildings studded with lights that stretch as far as the eye can see, and contemplate the infinity of a universe bathed in neon and cold mist.
It depends what form of alien civilizations will come to our World, and helps us improve our Solar System, and Travel into the outer reaches of Space. Living in 2154 has its perks and its downs. People and aliens mingle in the same areas and streets as we do. The government consist of both aliens and Human life working on behalf of all of us. Too keep the Peace and Harmony of both alien and Human life respectively. Its great that we have the Watcher, he keeps his eyes open for any sign of trouble. It's done in the air from a Small flying Space Station. Its nice to know that we are safe.
I think we as a race need to over come the color of people's skin before we can mingle with aliens. Our world is a sad place at the moment :( People shouldn't fight people.
I doubt aliens will EVER visit Earth. While I 100% think they are out there they would have to be a few hundred years ahead of us.
The old saying goes In a galaxy far far away.. Our galaxy has existed for 14 billion years. Earth has existed for 5 billion and "intelligent" life has existed for about 800 million years and the first transmission into space went out 126 years ago and humans went into space only 63 years ago.... The chances of another race evolving close enough to even detect is absolutely INSANELY low......
Although the best chance to talk to aliens will happen in about 4.5 billion years when our galaxy and Andromeda combine.
Sadly if we haven't Fermi's paradoxed ourselves into oblivion by then we won't be living on Earth anymore as the sun will have swelled up Earth by then.
Also... Should they somehow swing by I'd bet good money they would say Glarg' Tar' bi5i'Ebiii (Oh hell NO! We are not stopping here) after learning and observing us for a few days........
