I was born in Newfoundland in 1985, but unfortunately I have no memory of the trains there, other than the stationary cars around the bay that my grandfather showed me in the early '90s. It's good to see videos like this.
Seing this train that is sitting in whitbourne today is truly amazing, me and my friends use toc climb inside to train and it was like a portal where you could see the past. Seing it moving in this video is mind blowing to me.
Thanks. Engine 917 and all of this equipment made a one way trip to take up track, Then the cars & engines were either destroyed or placed into town parks.

The Newfie trains are all but a memory...when I first came to Newfoundland back in the summer of 1993, all the trains and railroads were gone!

The end of the line.
Different locos, why the extended skirt below the walkway, some kind of protection? Ugly, but beautiful at the same time. Thanks.
What kind of bell is on the locomotive at 0:45
The trucking industry is garbage
After all the money and effort to build it, ripping it up was a terrible short sighted waste.
Was this train a mixed train?
