Def not her "Best" performance... She was ALWAYS insanly good at Acoustic performances and vocally out of this world but ppl were so busy hating on her, no one really listened. Her vocals are as awesome as YEARS ago tbh

The way the acoustic version has a completely different tone - Never really over normally feels like a happy acceptance, whereas the acoustic version feels like not being able to let go and holding a lot of pain because of it.
Yeah I wasn't expecting this but it exceeded superceded my expectations!

probably has to do with fatigue as well. she was overworking like hell during her ultra-active years back then. concerts and live performances everyday here and there, recording, release, rinse and repeat, that vocal cord had to be tired as duck lol. glad she took the rest she needed and she sound better now than ever i agree
