Aareschlucht The Most Beautiful Gorge in Meiringen Switzerland 8K

- he Aareschlucht is located near the town of Meiringen and is intersected by the river Aare. With its 1400 meters the gorge is not long but very beautiful. The Aareschlucht is almost 200 meters deep and barely more than a meter wide at its narrowest point. The water in the gorge has a beautiful blue color, especially when the sun shines on it.
The Aareschlucht gorge was made accessible to the public in 1888 by constructing a hiking trail and the gorge is now one of Switzerland's tourist attractions.

Switzerland is really heaven on our earth. India is an overcrowded country having so much poverty. LOVE TO SWITZERLAND.
You could have praised the beauty of Switzerland without unnecessarily criticising India.
Honestly this was one of the most spectacular hikes i did in Switzerland, the town of meiringen is also very charming..its a very easy day trip from Interlaken..the gorge walk is stunning and easy , thank you Mark, this brought back all the memories.😊😊😊😊

Some people in there with very small children & a dog or 2- omg - they should have wire at the bottom of the fence all along this path so that none of those small people could ever fall thru the fence - as a mum I was scared for them !!!
