i think this version of this song is my favorite LCD Soundsystem song. every line is a knock out. love the desperate urgency. love the beautiful floaty synth.
the huge crescendo after the "that's not right" is suuuuch an improvement on the original, blew me away seeing this live in chicago last weekend and i'm glad there's a recorded version that replicates that part

Correct. I had to go back to the original just to make sure I wasn't mis-remembering. The top notes of the bassline are swapped.

Kyle Bags I mean I like how they sound as instruments, but the order of the notes themselves being off messes with a loooot of the chord structure throughout the entire thing
i think it's better than the original, faster, sharper. but who cares what either of us think, really. Just hit play.
Jay FP It's not really a matter of opinion, they.. literally just switched the higher and lower variant note of the baseline and it clashes with all the chords. If you don't believe me, listen to the original and come back to this.
Its fine if you think this version sounds better, I already said I like how the synths sound too, im saying musically, it's completely off and that little thing through the whole song just kinda ruins it.
