Playing A Jazz Trill and Growl Technique on Low D Whistle

In this video I introduce a technique that we use when playing jazz on a woodwind instrument, but this technique can be used on our low D whistles as well.
We can play a trill on our whistles using our tongue. We can also growl into our whistle. In order to learn these two techniques y9ou may need to pretend you are playing with a young child making noises.

Love this. Started to look into other types of music and tricks for the low whistle to branch out my knowledge. South African music Kwela using the Bb tin whistle was also one heck of a find.
