    Here is some information for you In PPD and Toluene if you are courious as why i always mention if the hair color contains these chemicals. This is just genaric information you should do your own research on the Matter to better inform yourself!
    Paraphenylenediamine also known as PPD -
    Para-phenylenediamine, or a chemically related -diamine is an ingredient used in virtually all oxidative hair dyes, both store-bought and used in salons. The oxidative dye process is formulated to quickly penetrate and stain the hair strand any color, including lightening hair by removing the pigment from the core of the hair and dyeing over it. Brunette and black hair dyes contain higher concentrations of PPD, though all colors can contain PPD.
    Symptoms of allergic reactions to para-phenylenediamine may include itching, swelling, hives, blistering, depigmentation, and permanent scarring; the reaction is a delayed hypersensitivity reaction, often occurring 3 to 30 days after application, so they are frequently misdiagnosed.
    Toluene 2,5 Diaminotoluene-
    2,5-Diaminotoluene is an organic compound with the formula C₆H₃(NH₂)₂CH₃. It is one isomer of six with this formula. 2,5-Diaminotoluene is a colorless crystalline solid, although commercial samples are often colored owing to air oxidation. It is commonly used in hair coloring.
    Toluene-2,5-Diamine, Toluene-2,5-Diamine Sulfate and Toluene-3,4-Diamine are used in permanent hair coloring systems where color is produced inside the hair fiber
    This is accomplished through careful formulation of the product so that the ingredients interact in a highly controlled process.
    Toluene-2,6-Diisocyanate may cause a skin allergy. If allergy develops, very low future exposure can cause itching and a skin rash. * Toluene-2,6-Diisocyanate may cause an asthma-like allergy. Future exposure can cause asthma attacks with shortness of breath, wheezing, cough, and/or chest tightness.

    Do the violets. As a blue black lover I’m starting to go into violet. I’m going to mix ion blue black and violet black from ion. We will see what I get.

    The violet color might not take on the bottom where it's already done black...

    When you used this was the dye still coming out when you rinsed your hair or when you shampooed your hair weeks later

      Yes, which in my opinion I feel is a good sign the color is still in your hair and going strong!

      I know that’s one thing I absolutely hate about violets it’s drove me crazy. I hate when my roots don’t match the rest of my hair, I’m gonna be a hot root mess! Lol

    I love this black color! Looks great on you. I didn’t buy a 10v or higher developer to use with my black. I purchased a zero lift crème developer by pravana instead. I have very dark brown hair color and want to cover some grays. Will this developer still work and darken my roots? Thanks!

    • @NinaGilhousen
      @NinaGilhousen  Před 9 měsíci

      Yes it’ll still work and cover your grays!

    I have alot of red tones in my hair from a semi permanent red color i used a month ago. I colored it black 2 weeks ago but now its all faded to a dark reddish brown. Will a blue black still show the blue or should i do a bleach bath first to remove the red or just keep dying it black every so often until the red is gone then do the blue black.

    • @NinaGilhousen
      @NinaGilhousen  Před rokem

      I used the unred packet from Sally’s it’s supposed to eliminate red tones in hair color I feel like that worked and helped a lot

  • @brendag44
    @brendag44 Před 6 měsíci

    I got the same color brand as yours and colored it black I also added the 10 developer every time I wash my hair a lot of purple comes out is that normal? If so how many washes will I need so that it goes away?

    • @NinaGilhousen
      @NinaGilhousen  Před 6 měsíci +1

      No that’s perfect! Don’t wish that away because then it means it’ll wash out quicker in my opinion I personally like to see the color come out with every wash because if it still washes out even close to the end of the month and it’s coming out then that hair color really sticks to your hair and the fading process takes longer. So I feel like that’s a great color that’ll last! Now if the color washes completely out after 1-2 washes the fading process is quicker. That’s what I’ve noticed!

    What’s your number #1 blue black from Sally’s and box dye? If you had to pick one from each.

    • @NinaGilhousen
      @NinaGilhousen  Před rokem +1

      Ahhh I can’t just pick 1 I have 3 favorites from Sally’s because they are all gentle on the scalp, last a long time a full month maybe longer depending on how fast your hair grows or if you have white/gray hair and the blue is noticeable: ions inspired by nature this color does bleed when you sweat, or your hair gets wet so be careful with that, age beautiful, and one n only Aragon oil this one is the biggest bang for your buck because is like 2 bottles in 1 so you only need 1 tube of color! I love all of these the most but you can pick which blue black you’d prefer! And my favorite blue black box dye is Schwarzkopf Ultime hands down the best drugstore color on the market it lasts all month long maybe longer depending on how fast your hair grows!
