      @CalvaryChapelOntario  Před 6 lety +9

      Salvation is available by trusting in the work of Jesus on the cross. He bore the wrath of God on our behalf and did so completely. There is nothing remaining for us to do but to receive His love and free gift of eternal life. As for not losing it, put your trust in God and your life will be secure in His hands. @@CalvaryChapelOntario is it preaching works when someone asks how to get saved and i say they have to receive what Christ did for them and repent and give their life to Christ?

    If Christians claim to follow Him, and continue in sexual immorality, will they inherit the Kingdom Of God? My interpretation is no. We can not continue to live in sin just because of Grace, am I correct?

      Yes

    • @ValoPlay724
      @ValoPlay724 Před 3 lety

      Are you saying that you believe sin can overpower what Jesus did on the cross? I would say that even though sexual immorality is wrong, if one trusts Jesus to save them, and even if they continue to commit sexual sin for the rest of their life, they will still go to heaven. That is the radical power of the gospel.
      “Shall we continue to sin, that grace may abound? No.” Sounds like the law to me. A commandment. Works based gospel if you think your ability to sin or not sin has anything to do with whether or not you go to heaven.

      @@ValoPlay724 if you believe in what Jesus did for you on the cross and truly received the Holy Spirit you wouldnt want to continue sinning and would continue looking to God to help you walk with him instead of the flesh

      @@ValoPlay724 I don‘t think so. If a person truly receives Jesus as his/her Lord, this person will have Holy Spirit guiding him/her to walk away from sins. Our flesh may fight with Holy Spirit but God has the power to help us to win the battle. If a person knows what is wrong according to God‘s teaching and never wants to address it, I wonder this person is really saved. But it is not up to me to judge. God knows each person‘s heart. He is mercy and justice.

    It is very easy to know when God hasn't told anyone anything; there are no private prophecies. If God utterly prohibits divorce in his word, for instance, he will not privately tell anyone to get a divorce.

    I know you said we don't have to be baptized in water to be saved. I am still trying to learn and find a church for myself. I am a former Catholic and was baptized through sprinkle when I was about 2 or 3. I am confused on this one. The Bible says repent and be baptized for forgiveness of sins and when one accepted Jesus, they were baptized. I was wondering if you can clarify how baptism is a work if the Bible says to do it. Like I said I am still learning. Some preach you are not saved until you are immersed in water and I have talked to others who said you don't have to be baptized. Is it more of a baptism in the spirit?

      Why was Jesus and John The Baptist baptised? I believe in baptism, it is a public affirmation of faith signifying that we have buried the old man (immersion) and come up afresh as a new man.

    I have a question. If the bibles says there is not one man without sin why should I go to hell for being gay when the Bible says that if you believe Jesus die on the cross to forgive us of our sins that you are saved. Your a pastor but your still not without sin. Why should I go to hell and not you and we both believe in the same thing and your a sinner just like me ? Or sin isn't the same but you're a sinner too. Explain to me and please make it make sense. You can call me on my phone if you'd like to...
