Also, they didn't plunder your mountains and trees so the scenery has been beautiful for thousands of years. No, it's a painfully overrated overpriced place. Amalfi, Positano are far better options than this. Everything looks good in a video
I was there in 2008. This was one of the highlights of my visit to Italy. Anacapri was nice as well. They had a ski lift where you could pretty much overlook the whole island when you got to the top.

I went to the Isle of Capri and walked up to Anna Capri when I served in the USAF in 1975 while stationed in Germany. We stayed in a motel room that had a balcony that hung out over from a rock wall cliff about 300 feet from the water. It was amazing. I remember getting sick in the boat at the Blue Grotto and had to get off the boat at the entrance and walk up the metal stairway to the top. Rocking boats were always a problem for my stomach. A great time.

It loox amazing. It was nice when I went in 1990 just before the break up of Yugoslavia. There weren't any shops anywhere to tell of. Just the hotel we stayed in, bars and inland occasional places to eat.
