Really appreciated you taking the time to explain the different directions you could have gone in. Great video :)
Man the art in those Season 4 episodes of Rebels was outstanding. What a mat.
Thank you for the advice. I really like your playmat, too. That was a great episode of Rebels.
Thanks! That one means a lot to me it was my crowning Star Wars Destiny achievement
Great primer! Thank you sir.
Personally, I would have taken the Mando Blue deck. The Cad Red deck had two big problems - only 3 space units and only 4 turn 1 plays. Whereas the Mando Blue deck had potentially 6 turn 1 plays and 8 space with a decent curve. Also, the Village Protectors on T2 -> Constables on T3 -> Rey on T4 -> Falcon/Mando with all of the upgrades would have kept the ground solid while you dominate space. And you would have had a decent top end with the Falcon & Pursuers.
Bobby, you've highlighted something I've seen in no other prerelease video, that I've also came across in my TTS practice: you can often build multiple decks and keeping ALL of your options open is so important. You can, to my understanding, switch everything between games, so if you run one deck and don't end up liking it, completely switch it up. The versatility matters.
P. S. In my practice Niima constables are like cracked in sealed imo so I'd heavily consider them.
Thanks! Not all builds let you do this, some are just very obviously strong in a certain direction. A lot of feedback already that I should be on the blue Mando deck!
Once you've committed to a Leader and Base, you are stuck with them for the event. But you can sideboard everything else.
With light space presence I'd probably put the Falcon in, limited games tend to go slightly longer so paying two extra for a good threat in space (with ambush even) seems pretty good
Great video! Good luck against your brother!
really appreciate all the prere content! deciding between two similar power level builds is always so tough.
i think you should play bro with both decks at least once, see if the results push you in one direction or the other.
Surprised you didn't try looking at yellow gar saxon? Looked like there were plenty of cards there for him
Going to my first PR, how much time do you typically get to build a deck in store?
Do you generally get time to sleeve cards at a Pre-release?
Definitely, unless you're really struggling with your build. I've definitely helped my opponents sleeve before game 1 before
I like the Mando blue list simply because of how powerful the Rey combo can be.
