I am Igbo..British Born and Raised...but I grew up with the sounds of Igbo high-life. especially Chief Osita Osadebe my popsy'sfavorite. My Igbo is limited and I often needed the lyrics translated by my popsy However, his musicality, melodic voice, the richess of sounds always always fill my soul with joy annd nostalgia and a sense if my Igbo hertage. For me,today's artists cannot compare....I was lucky to see him perform at a wedding in Nigeria. His style, class and dignity was a delight!

Such a legend.
Your music lives on.
May God continue to rest your soul in peace.
Your legacies will live forever.
