I’ve always wanted to do this for my nurses, I’m pregnant again so now is the time 🤩. But I’m always confused, like do you specifically hand the basket to someone or do you tell them to choose anything they like out of it? There are so many nurses coming in and out I’ve never only had one consistent nurse working with me... Or would it be better to make individual little cosmetic baggies of goodies and personally hand them to the ladies?
I plan on just handing it to the first nurse that comes in to take care of me when we get there and encourage them to take it back to the nurses station so all the nurses are free to grab whatever they want as they please! I’ll do the same thing once we move to the postpartum unit! 🥰
As a Nurse, when we receive items of thanks, we normally ( at my work place ) divide what we can into 3 shifts - AM / PM and Night shift. Often night shift gets forgotten, so we always made a point of remembering them. You will find with items, such as Taras Basket, the nurses will just pick one item each and leave the rest for other shifts. Nurse tribes are a super close family and we tend to always look out for each other.
I wish I would have did this for my NICU nurses ! I had my little 23 weeker , 7 years ago and I’m so grateful for them ! I will be going back to that hospital to visit with some of them and let them meet the little girl life they helped save ! ❤️ thank you for your contribution to the NICU life ! ♥️♥️♥️
Thank you for doing what you do. It's people like you who saved my daughter's life and many other sick or premature babies. You all don't get enough credit. You are amazing and bless you💗
I am a nurse and this is incredibly generous! What I also really loved was a small little thank you note 📝. I have saved all the letters I received and it brings back such wonderful memories.
L&D RN here and a 26 weeks pregnant mama of a Toddler girl. It’s so sweet of you Tara as always to appreciate the nurses. I would like you to keep the basket in your room and tell the nurses to take whatever they like. Because since covid we are not supposed to accept anything from patients due to obvious reasons. If you keep it in your room they can enjoy a candy / bar/ lotion/ hand sanitizer . I would avoid big items like the tumbler
As someone who works in OB in the hospital I can honestly tell you, these baskets are really thoughtful. It truly is “the little things” like this that make us feel appreciated.. sometimes we’re so tired working 12hr shifts and something like a small gift like a pack of gum has definitely made me smile before. We had a basket brought in for the first time this year the other night and the family put those Starbucks coffees in there.. and I work nights.. so it was like winning the jackpot 🤣Thank you for spreading the love. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ I have a feeling Tatum will be here within the week. I pray you have a healthy, happy, and beautiful delivery. Xoxoxoxox
Such a sweet idea!! I'm a pediatric oncology nurse, and I can tell you us nurses LOVE when patient families bring in little treats for us, or get special meals delivered for the unit's nursing team. They turned out great!
Hey tara, the nurse's basket idea is lovely, and you are so generous. I have a suggestion. You can include some essential oils, some of your roll-ons too, from your young living. Congratulations
As a Nurse 👩⚕️, I can say this is an amazing basket and it will be so appreciated. Often we have to stay later and do double shifts. These items are perfect to keep in our lockers so we can freshen up. The treats are perfect to snack on and grab quick when we don’t get breaks etc. Thank you for thinking ahead about your Nurses. X
It def looks like she has moved lower. I can’t believe she’s almost here! It’s flown by. I remember meeting you at Target several months ago with my kiddos and you were barely showing then and now bam it’s almost time! So excited for you and your family!
Cute baby bump and NO stretch marks. That is awesome. So excited to meet baby girl. You’re so beautiful and your family is beautiful. Tatum will fit right in. Be safe and have a great day!❤️❤️❤️
Nurses are the backbone of the medical system. It’s such a thoughtful idea to do this. Doesn’t cost too much, but I’m sure a little token or treat can bring smiles to these hardworking women and boost positive motivation through the day! I’m in my second trimester and now I want to do the same when my time comes. ❤️
Awe 🥺I’ve never even thought about doing this! 🤦🏻♀️ What a blessing, Tara!!!!! Lord please bless your thoughtfulness and generosity 🙏🏻 love you sweet lady ❤️
Hey Tara! Labor nurse here! Those baskets are adorable. 💕 alcohol is always welcome and appreciated btw. We obviously put them in our locker for home! So thoughtful of you.
When I had my son I handed thank you notes to all the nurses that helped me deliver and even handed one to my doctor. I didn’t just have one nurse so anyone that helped me got a card. It’s the little things 🤗
She definitely has dropped and can not believe she is almost here so happy to see her This made sound weird but Yesterday for some reason I was dreaming that you were having Tatum initially I would have said April 1st but now Im thinking the same as March 29 since you will have had a chance to finish this busy week by the weekend you will start feeling more relaxed I wish you the best 😍💖👧🏻
love this idea! so so thoughtful. you are glowing!!!!!! 😍 i am guessing March 30th or April 1st can’t wait to meet this beautiful girl! your ditl vlogs and organization (all vlogs) i’m obsessed - cannot wait to watch you decorate the new house from bedrooms to the kitchen and the office etc! love you Tara ❤️
Aww!! Those nurses are so lucky to have you as a patient. I want to do something like this for my nurses whenever I get pregnant again. 😊 I think Tatum will arrive any day now.
i was gonna do a day shift and night shift nurses basket and then a postpartum unit day and night one idk i just be dtm 😭😭😭 this will be my first successful pregnancy. and i’m so excited to meet my thing one and thing two this fall !!!
Hi Tara, that is so sweet of u to do that for the nurses😘😘❤️Can't wait to meet the Sweet little girl😍😍 Love you and your Family😘❤️Hugs & Kisses from; Suriname 🇸🇷
I love the idea of gifting your nurses a basket to say Thanks! Nurses do so much! Tara you are glowing btw lol.. you look so good! & your hair is so beautiful! Absolutely stunning is what you are! Love you! Thank you so much for the up=load:)
I’m sure it doesn’t feel this way for you but man I feel this pregnancy has flown by! I can’t believe she’s arriving any day now. Your heart is so kind and pure, Tara. Your nurses will love those baskets. However now I want candy 😂My guess is..April2nd 😊 God Bless!
wow what a beautiful way of showing kindness to the nurses who help you so much in your delivery lovely gifts ............ i liked everything nice done .. your kids are so cute Tara ..
I'm going to say Tatum will arrive on the 28th. Congrats good luck and I'm just 4 weeks behind you with my 1st little girl briella after 3 boys. Bless your family and all the Joy's to come.
Hi Tara first of all you are a really good person. You are a great motivation for all the people who watch your videos and I just want to wish you the best and god bless you. And I think that your baby is gonna come on the 28th! Good luck and greetings to the whole family.
Hey Tara you are wonder girl since I have seen. Your every work and all very good, excellent, amazing lovely, neat, can watch any times and any days, not fed up that's much lovely and valuable ❤️❤️❤️❤️😍😍😍😍😍💕💕💕💕💕💗💗💗💗God bless you darling Tara
April 5th. I can't really tell if she's dropped much but from previous experience with mine, they had dropped to the point where they were just about to fall out 🤪 and I never went into labor until I was induced! So..I CAN say this..you have the most BEAUTIFUL pregnant belly I've ever seen!
I would suggest a general basket for the whole nursing station. You will have most likely 4 different nurses minimum for labour and then maternity ward and including day and night shift nurses. Including maybe nursing students, personal support workers ect.
So kind of you to prepare the baskets for the nurses. I hope they are kind and thoughtful toward you during delivery. March 29th is so close🥰🥰 I'm going with Adam's guess though. Prayers for a safe delivery either way!
I loved the baskets they came out really nice. I think you are going to deliver on March 27. You do look like you have dropped a little bit period.Praying for a safe and healthy delivery. Have a blessed week.
Hi Tara! I think the baskets look great, so very kind of you. The nursed an Dr's will love it. I hope Tatum will arrive on Easter.🐰Good Luck, hope for a safe and healthy delivery.🙏💐🐰
I'm going to say March 31 cos that's my dad's birthday 🥳 I am a BHT (I work with eating disorders so I'm like a CNA but not) and we really appreciate the gratitude. I know I feel so loved when I get a thank you card or gift. I did personalized thank you cards and brought candy canes (she was born around Christmas) when I gave birth. Yours is much nicer haha.
I love this! I hope I can get to the store to do something like this for our nurses. I hope Tatum is born on the 29th. Then she will be a twin with my daughter if my daughter waits until Monday when I’m scheduled. I’m already dialated 2 centimeters. Cross your fingers for me. I really prefer to have my doctor there for delivery. ❤️❤️❤️ to the family.
You are absolutely amazing Tara & I can not wait to meet your sweet baby girl. 💕 Rooting for you from Canada. Also I'm going to guess she will arrive March 30th
