Performance diesels are like that. Never feel fast but always surprise you when you look at the speedo and are shocked to see how fast you are going. They mask speed really well. But in this case, a car that heavy will never be genuinely fast.

The drive train will be broken. I can guarantee it. Even if it was broken before and they fixed it, it will break again. I had one of these and it was the worst car I ever owned: it looked like it was built to fall apart after about 13 years. The main VW dealer certainly knew how bad it was because they didn't want to touch it (and that is with their outrageous pricing).

I have a TT towbar professionaly fitted pulls like a train my boat and caravan i love this car 4x4 comfort, power, stability, due to being very heavy you don't feel very often the wind (storm), no rust because of the double paint.. I have Goodrich 255/55/18 mud tyres absolutely tank. Never let me down but tbh I've spent alot of money because every part is expensive. However once you replace what needs replacing believe me you won't have any issues anytime soon. Fixed all suspension and manifold clap because the precious owner didn't care that much now runs smoothly I'll plan to buy a V10 as well they are very cheap on eBay
