Love the DR, other small nations around should take notice and copy, including the nightmare country next door. Been to DR 4 times and will be back in a few months. I hope Dominicans continue to love and appreciate their land and continue to care and make it even more beautiful and clean. My wife bought a place in Romana and my kids love it. They have learned spanish and have made great friends in DR. The best of DR is their people
WAOW Thanks alot For those beautiful words my brotha ✌ ❤ God bless you and your family from Mighty ❤DR
Yeah and still to much hunger in the DR, too many crooked Politicians controlled by the higher powers.
Thank you Bendiciones to you and yours 👏🏽👌🏽🦾🫡🥳🕺🏽♥️🙏🏽🇩🇴🇩🇴🇩🇴🇩🇴🇩🇴
My country is only a nightmare is cause THE UNITED STATES CAUSE THAT TO BE
@@kingkev1788 Hatians are raping, stealing and killing other Hatians in the capitol simply because they can get away with it. Former president Aristide also Hatian defunded the police and military so the people have no force to defend them, but you blame the USA for what Hatians are doing to other Hatians, you are in denial. Look in the mirror.

Thanks for blessing my people
I did NOT SEE NO BLESSING when I was there; Quite the CONTRARY; Uncontrolled CRIMES everywhere; Garbage and TRASH EVERYWHERE; RUDE PEOPLE EVERYWHERE.

En serio? Conque dinero? Wake up and stop dreaming.

Good to mention that the Dominican Republic is the largest economy in the Caribbean/Central America region and the most visited Caribbean country with more than 10 million tourists per year. Santo Domingo, the capital and largest Caribbean city, has the tallest buildings in the Caribbean (Anacaona Tower being the tallest at 180 meters); the only Caribbean city with a metro system (it has 2 lines and more stations are under construction). While Santiago, the second largest city, has a rail system under construction and a cable car already working (there are 2 cable car lines in SD already connected to the metro). Plus, a stable democracy and high economic growth (5% on average).
Blah, blah while few people steal everything!!!

Despite being a country with challenges yet to overcome. Thank God in the name of Christ, that in the DR 🇩🇴, right decisions are being made with the aim of diversifying the economy even more than it currently is. Betting on industrial, energetic and logistical development in the Montecristi province, tourism development in the Pedernales province or transportation infrastructure with the Monorail, to save money for the inhabitants of the city of Santiago.
Highlighting that the Montecristi and Pedernales Provinces used to be abandoned by previous administrations.
amen praise the lord
WAY TOO MANY CHALLENGES. CREATED BY THEIR OWN PEOPLE!!!
Have lived in the RD for several years in PP, PC, and SD. Let me give you 3 projects that will serve the average Dominican far more than some of the flashy projects listed here. 1. Clean drinking water plants 2. Dependable electrical grids in the inner cities. 3. Dependable trash removal systems that dont only operate in the affluent areas. I like the progress but help ALL of the people. Viva Dominicana!!
Well, their OWN PEOPLE Should Also be KINDER to Each Other and NOT be their OWN WORST ENEMIES. Also, Should CLEAN their HOMES properly. And NOT be fake and help their OWN DAUGHTERS and grandchildren.
2:20 The Monorail is not in the capital. It is in Santiago, the second largest city in DR. The capital, Santo Domingo, has already metro lines and as you mentioned, new stations are in construction. Good video by the way!
But he said Santiago monorail..
He said "Santiago monorail which is being built in the capital Santo Domingo, he mentioned the city, but then said it was being built in Santo Domingo, which is incorrect @cesarinsosa1334
I was about to post the same hahahahaha thanks for mentioning it!
God bless my country today tomorrow and always, in the name of Jesus Christ.🙏.

Thank God, in the name of Christ, the Domingo Savio project is also being built to give more dignity to vulnerable neighborhoods.

Thanks for the video of my country. I appreciate it.
Excellent video, thank you.

Have you a spanish version of the video?

As a Haitian, I'm proud to be an investor in DR.
As a Haitian, you should be investing in Haiti, not in the DR.
I'm a businessman, so I have properties all over the world, including Haiti, and I have about 400 Dominicans working for me in the DR.
Good presentation. However, it focuses more on the south and cetral parts of the country. What about the Samana Peninsula? Las Terrenas has many wonderful beaches, and real estate development is booming there, although at a smaller size than Punta Cana. However, Las Terrenas has serious insfrastructure problems that need to be addressed: frequent floodings of the town, pollution of the potable water system, saturation of the electrical grid, need for more streets and pedestrian dedicated pasages. If these issues are not addressed, the area might lose it's appeal and investors could be shying away in the (not so far) future.
I love all the projects that you mentioned its wonderful
Great
Thanks for information👏🏻🇩🇴
Fantastic report, it just to show that with the right vision and commitment to improve the lives of its citizens a beautiful and diverse country can achieve great things…. I am very pleased to see this initiative being implemented… If they could find a way to get Haiti on board it could be a marvelous opportunity to make the whole island superior…
Great 😊
The monorail system isn’t in santos domingos it’s in santiago
I was going to comment the same thing.

How about Puerto Plata. Lots of things are going on there, too.
Thank you for the video. But the Monorial is in Santiago,; the second largest city in the Dominican Republic and the 5th largest in the Caribbean.
He said the Santiago Monoririel and is written in the screen.
@eddiemonesti5671 he literally said "The development of its first monorail in the capital SANTO DOMINGO"
@@bryansalcedo9563 He did. But He started saying Santiago. Re-watch the video.
@@eddiemonesti5671 he got confused. He thought Santiago was a part of Santo Domingo, that's why he said "Santiago monorail... being built in the capital Santo Domingo". That's why people are telling him Santiago is a whole different city
@@eddiemonesti5671 Yes. He did write that, but then he said that it is being built in the capital city of Santo Domingo. And that is not true. They're building additional metro lines in Santo Domingo. But in Santiago (which is a city to the north of the capital, approx. 2 hours away) is building the first Monorail in all of Central America and the Caribbean.

After 500 years they are still digging gold mines in DR.
As do many countries in the world such as Argentina, Mexico, Peru, the United States, Australia, Canada, many on the continent of Africa and others in Asia. In short, nothing from another world.
The DR will become a first class economy in 20 years. Moodys and Fitch year over year give higher ratings. The IMF, world bank, and other global financial institutions give glowing reviews. Foreign investment is at record highs. The transformation is exiting to witness. A new national railway system is also being planned… see Ares Enterprises conceptual plan…
Well, I've been waiting More than 40 Years for that to Happen and instead what happened was that they went Backwards in everything. It was WAY BETTER back in the early 80s, but Dominicans with their Evil BAD Spirits destroyed EVERYTHING that was Nice about that Country.
Good video, don’t forget to add the construction of the Santo Domingo World Trade Center tower located at Winston Churchill avenue, it currently has a high completion rate and it’s on it’s final stages.
If it wasn’t for Haiti I’d say DR is perfect.
What a r4cist comment. Haitians have been contributing in great meassure to the dominican economy for many years with their cheap labor, as mexican do in the US and as all inmigrants do around the world. Stop the h4te.
Perfect for What?? Have You been there; and SEEN with Your Own Eyes the DISASTER that island IS.
Definitely would be more prosperous if they didn't have this baggage dragging them down
The project of santo domingo savio is vert importante. Thanks to presidente Abinader the Best presidente. God bless Dominican República.

Street electric cables need better organization any projects on that
That second image at 0:33 was the F&F Tower in Panama City, Panama, not Santo Domingo, DR.
