It was very interesting to see the animated style for a music video, and the storyline was also well thought out. This MV was written and directed by the youngest member of SB19 JUSTIN DE DIOS
Generally, MVs are projected towards satisfying our eyes with the aesthetics of the videos,with the cinematography and value qualities in tow,but SB19 has gone beyond satisfying our ears and eyes,they created a MV that could pique the deeper part of our understanding and could leave us wondering what the story was all about. For SB19 fans like me, even small details are pronounce and are well-connected to the totality of the story. Intertwining fates that traverse different timelines,infusion of their other songs into this video that made them connected to each of the characters' story in the MV is pure genius I must say. Another thing that amazes me is how well-thought out the whole story plot is.❤ #STANSB19
It starts in Justin and Sejun's timeline back in 2009 when they were classmates and Juniors in high school.
1. Justin has a crush on Aly. He's been writing his confessions on that notebook for him to give to her at the right time. But then, Aly was offered the scholarship and had to leave. Justin chose to keep his feelings for himself to avoid distracting Aly because her future was what matters to him more.
2. Sejun was in a dark place fast forward to 2019 as seen on the MV. The box he threw away holds memories and things he lost and given up to. The scene wherein he was crying showed a newspaper back in 2015 where a tragedy was reported. A group of friends was caught in an accident while having a reunion. 1 died and the rest were fatally injured. Constantine, the girl and Sejun's love interest, was the one who died. Sejun survived but was paralyzed from the hips down.
3. Year 2019: Sejun and Josh cross over at the bus where Josh took off. He seemed to have left that town long ago and visited the place where he reminisces the memories he had with his childhood sweetheart. He was wearing the read string of fate bracelet which he gave to the little girl as a sign of movinv on. It turns out that the kid was the daughter of Athena, his love interest, since the mom was also wearing the red string of fate. Josh smiled at the end because he saw that the girl was already happy with her family.
4. Fast forward to year 2034: Stell, Ken, Josh cross over.
-Stell likes a regular customer and have consistently given her notes/letters. But it turns out she's actually with someone after 2 months of trying to reach out to her. On 6/16/34, he finally confessed through the note but the girl came at the cafe with her boyfriend. The two cups of coffee shows that he served the couple.
-Ken is a teenager who has a crush on this boyish girl. He was at a cafe where Stell works. That's where he saw that his love interest was actually a lesbian and was in a relationship. Notice that this girl has a ref string bracelet. It turns out that she is Athena's daughter, the little girl whom Josh gave the bracelet to. Despite knowing her gender, Ken did not hesitate to protect her when some dude tried to harass her - showing how much love has no gender.
In the end all of them accepted their loss and decided to move on, keeping the beautiful memories with them despite the unrequitted love.
Justin directed and wrote the story with the help of the rest of the members. They intentionally made this an MV we had to deciphee, find clues, and connect the evnts in order to understand it. Lol! They know A'TIN can decode this. Justin has been doing it for so long, hence, he was named the Concept King in SB19. They will have a self-made MV they shot for fun back when they were in Jeju, Korea! So we'll get to see them. 😁 Watch out for a performance video as well!

Sejun and Josh are on the same timeline (2019). Justin's time stamp is in the past (2009). While Ken and Stell is in the future (2034).
Stell - He likes the girl but unfortunately, the girl is in a relationship with someone else. Before the couple leaves the coffee shop, Stell already accepted his fate.
Josh - He is still stuck up with his past relationship. He gave the red tie to the kid which happens to be the daughter of his past lover.
Ken - He obviously likes the girl but the girl likes someone else from the same gender. Ken's graffiti wall art contains the lgbt color, that explains everything.
And Ken likes a girl which happens to be the daughter of Josh's past lover. The girl is wearing the red tie that Josh gave when the girl was still young.
Justin - He was about to confessed but he did not continue because the girl showed a Scholarship Certificate for Senior High School ABROAD ( so the girl is leaving very soon ) Justin's love is freeing.
Sejun - His part is the most painful one. It tackles about death. Anguish.
Sejun and Justin were classmates back in Junior High School days. Justin is included in the photo card that Sejun's holding including both of their Love Interest.
2015 their Batch had a Reunion sadly they met an accident as per the news (news paper) ONLY ONE DIED and it was Sejun's love interest who died.
So, 4 years after the tragedy but Sejun is still in pain (2015 Reunion tragedy happened and his timeline is 2019)

Ok so here's the trick:
1. Notice the order of the member's turn in the song first... Every member's turn resembles their Animé character... That's how you would indentify them individually...
2. Take note of the timeline of the boys:
- Justin, Sejun, and Josh shared the same timeline (2009 - 2019)
- Ken and Stell are of the same timeline (2034)
3. Their Love Interest:
- Justin = Allysa who was granted a Scholarship abroad

The boys actually explained in their FB Live right before the MV release that the original plan was to do an actual MV with them in it.. They had conceptualized the story and their characters way back and they were supposed to act in the MV..but the pandemic happened..and they eventually decided to go for an animation instead..

Josh he was super late too cause that girl he loves already has a family and he saw her for the last time, in the video that had a kid, and josh gave his bracelet to the kid from his childhood lover.

Their story are connected to each other. There's a timeline. It's in past present and future. Justin and Sejun are friends way back 2009. 2015 accident happened to Sejun and the girl he loved with their friends and the girl died. Sejun and Josh rode the same bus in 2019. Athena josh's childhood friend had daughter . and then in the future 2030's Ken met Athena's daughter but found out that she's lesbian

Sb19's true to life love story
Justin De Dios as Writer and Director of the MV is insanely genius and artistic to put some twist in the plot. As you can see there's a different time span in every scenario which makes you confused. You need to be more detective type since this MV is so tricky. However, this MV is so interesting. SB19 is looking forward for every theories about the MV. Ahhh we're all drained.
Take time to read this after you read and understand the meaning of the MV
I know lots of people will tell you about the story of this MV. But I also read a fan theory that is very heart warming. It is said that this MV is not only about unrequites romantic love but it is also about the love of SB19 to A'TIN.
Ken - SB19 love to members of the LGBT COMMUNITY that they don't care about your gender preference they will always love and protect you.
Stell - SB19 is always serving us what we always love. But there will come a time that we will like a different group and SB19 will still be happy and support us even that will happen.
Justin - SB19 always wants A'TIN to pursue their dreams rather than being stuck with them because of their love to their group.
Josh - SB19 will always be their even when we grow old and have family. They will always have a part in our life.
Sejun - Due to this pandemic people experienced mental health issue which results them to they. SB19 wants to show that they also grieve to people especially their fans if they die.

That’s the beauty of the MV, it makes you want to watch it again to understand the whole story. The story concept and development were done by the members with the academy staff and it was written and directed by the youngest member, Justin. They initially planned to shoot an MV but due to the pandemic, they decided to do an animated one instead which is a practical move in my opinion. thank you for checking out this vid and reacting to it. :)

Sejun, the composer of this song, said that he this is a song of acceptance. Supposed to be a sequel to another song that he wtote, Tilaluha, which is about disappointment and depression due to lovers parting ways.
Actually the storyline is amazing if you understand , its connected to each other,...especially in sejun's part its so painful.

Since some writings and small details in the MV are in Tagalog, we decipher the MV I think... so first POV is justin's and sejun... they were friends and schoolmates (those 6 friends walking at the side of the road...) justin's crush transfered to other school 2009 before he even told her that he likes her.... 2015 a tragedy happened to them according to the newspaper 1 died and the rest had injuries including justin and sejun, leading to sejun being in wheelchair... the one who died was sejun's crush/love so he was so devastated... 2019 sejun still visits the girl's (tree of memory??! Haha sorry idk what's it called) and in the bus with him there's josh he stopped by at a park where he reminisces his childhood sweetheart Athena (just saw the details on the tree "josh & athena forever")... then suddenly a little girl came he gave her a simple bracelet and discovered that the girl was Athena's daughter... she had a happy family... 2034.. Ken while doing graffiti saw a cute dancer and had a crush on her.. later he discovered that she was a lesbian and happy with her partner... where did he discover it? In stell's cafe where stell had a longtime crush on a girl but he is so shy to tell her directly, the following days he continued putting notes on her table... but one day she had coffee with her boyfriend that's when stell realized she's already taken nothing to do but to accept it and be happy for her (btw that lesbian girl was Athena's daughter with the bracelet from josh still on her) mindblown by this MV gosh so much plot twist haha and extra plot twist.. that guy with athena is justin, her husband (hahahaha jk but maybe just maybe)

2009 (date on letter given to Jah) - Jah, Alyssa (Jah's love interest), Sejun, Constantine (Sejun's love interest) and friends, were still in Junior High.
2015 (date on newspaper) - tragedy happened at a reunion, 1 died (probably Constantine) and others are critically injured as per news article. Sejun was later shown as a crippled man.
2019 (date on sejun's calendar) - sejun is still mourning about the tragedy.. it is the same year as josh' story. He passed behind Sejun on the bus scene. Josh went to his and Athena's old meeting place marked with 'Josh and Athena Forever' then a ball hit Josh' back and he saw a child. He gave that child the red string to find out that the child's mother was actually Athena because of the red string she was also wearing.
2034 (date on Stell's note) - Stell is in love with a girl but was never reciprocated. It turned out that the girl already had someone else. Ken went to Stell's coffee shop and saw his love interest with another girl and they seem to have a romantic relationship. The girl had the red string. With the timeline, she is possibly Athena's (Josh' love) daughter.

(Twist): Ken's crush is Athena's daughter. She's already 15 yrs. old & wears the red string given by Josh when she was a kid
this mv is a masterpiece. It's confusing at first so that the viewer will watch it many timesss hehe

I would like to share my insights about the MV:
Stell is a staff (waiter) in the cafe shop, one day a girl comes in to their shop and he fell in love at first sight. He was the one who always serve her coffee. Then in the end he tried confessing his feelings to her by writing in a sticky note but he saw that the girl he was in love with has already a lover.
Sejun is an aspiring music composer in the present time. He was reminiscing the memories he had in their junior high school year. He was frustrated while holding the picture because he also remembered the tragedy that had occured in that time. When he was crying you could see in the newspaper that they got into an accident while celeberating their reunion. In the end, he visited her grave in a wheelchair so he probably got injured in the accident. There's a chance that he doesn't have the ability to stand anymore.
Justin is also a classmate of Sejun. In his first appearance you could see that he was writing in a notebook in order to convey his feelings to the girl that he loves. It was also written there that their junior high school year is already ending and that the girl she loves wants to study in her dream school. When he's about to give the notebook to her with a flower, she handed him an acceptance letter to her dream school so he probably didn't had the chance to confess his feelings to her.
Ken is a graffiti artist, he's inlove with a lesbian but at first he doesn't know about it but then when he was in a cafe shop, he saw the girl he loves with the same sex (girl) . One day, I think the girl he loves is being harassed by another guy but Ken saved her by punching the guy in spite of the things he discovered.
Josh has a childhood friend (or childhood sweetheart) but he probably need to leave her when they were young so when he came back to the place where they were usually playing. You could see that their names were engraved in the tree. A little girl then comes in, Josh gave the little girl a red bracelet but when her parents are about to get her he noticed that the mom of the little kid is her childhood sweetheart. You can see the mom is also wearing a red bracelet same as the thing he gave to the little girl. So he probably gave that too when they were young. I also noticed that the little girl is actually the girl that ken is inlove with because when he was in the coffee shop he saw the girl that he loves holding hands with another girl. You could see in there that she was wearing the same red bracelet that Josh gave to the little girl.
Even if it's already the end, they would still continue loving them. I think they've already accepted their fates because of their smiles in the end.

Justin realized that the girl he likes is moving to another school so instead of confessing, he didn't.
Josh remembered his childhood friend who turns out already has her own family.
Ken's love (Josh's childhood love's daughter) turned out to be lesbian but he still cared and protected her.

Well the story/MV is about a girls that died because of an accident... Remember the bus that they entered it's actually the reunion bus, because they have a reunion. But sadly the bus suddenly have a problem or something the reason why they got into an accident. The boys survived but the girls which is their friend who they secretly like died in the accident. The boys still can't get over and still miss the girls even it's so long ago. They came back to the place where they used to stay when they were still students. And the boys said "Hanggang sa Huli" or until the end they will love them even if they're already gone.

Ken on the other hand likes the girl wearing a cap, it so happen that the girl that Ken likes happens to like girls too:( sad.
Stell was working on a coffee shop, he used to serve one cup of coffee to a girl he likes. The girl never noticed stell, until one time the girl went in along with a guy. Stell got heartbrokened.
I heard that was based on their personal experiences.

This MV project (according to the artist) started 2 months ago, naturally the concept was conceptualized longer than 2 months, maybe during the time the quarantine here was very strict so I'm *assuming* they may have gone to the animated route since they cant film an MV together.

My take of the story
2009 - Jah and Sejun are classmates.
Jah was not able to give his notebook of confession bcos he chose to let ally pursue her dreams.
2015 - reunion accident(Sejun's love interest died)
2019 - Josh went back to the park reminiscing his memories with Athena, where he also saw Athena's child and her family.
Sejun in his room with all the memories of Constantine (memory box)
2034 - Ken and Stell's timeline
Stell likes the girl whom he serves coffee every time. But when he was ready to confess, the girl already have her special someone.
Ken saw his love interest also have her special someone(a girl) which makes him realize that they cannot be together. However, he still helped her when she was harrassed.
Though they didn't end up with the person that they want to be with still they are happy. Dream and reach for it. This MV teaches acceptance and to love 'HANGGANG SA HULI' (Until the End). Not your typical music video.
