Think about the money that is spent by a town fighting fires. The time it takes to get doors open to rescue victims and get interior fires extinguished. The increased costs to insurance companies for all the extra damage that wasted time can cause. The cost of fixing the front door when it is only needed for entry when the fire could be in the garage or other remote location.
All commercial buildings have Knox Box by the entry doors. The fire department has a key to that box and the building entry key is inside it. Put a Knox Box at the front door of every residential structure. The town, the insurance companies and the homeowner could all chip in, and entry could take just seconds and with no damage.

Haha have fun getting the funds for that in a 350,000 resident city. Should pass noooo problem at city hall meeting,

      Nahh you can’t do that
All the keys in one area are all the same
So then all the houses would all have the same key
If someone had a copy they could go anywhere

@@DanEvan You need to think outside the Box! The insurance companies would be glad to do it. Each homeowner could do it on their own. We aren't talking a lot of money.

@@JB91710 you don’t understand, I think what you said is a good idea….i think people would complain about the security of it but it’s a good idea. I’m a 13 year career fighter/medic and I was just speaking from my experience when it came to things like getting funds for things like smoke and CO alarms for the Elderly. They laughed in our faces. I just don’t think an insurance company is going to pay for an average small city, say 100k population - unless you want to use the $60 red tin cans the Knox locks can be anywhere from $500-900. At $500, that’s a $50,000,000 check for the boxes alone not including installation fees and labor….i don’t know where you live and what utopia it’s like but my city hall would laugh in my face if I proposed this idea to them. Best of luck bru 🤞🏼

This kind of useful knowledge should be taught in school for youngsters, not mathematics.
