love ging. legit one of my most satisfying moments in the series was when togashi seemed to let the fans of the series into the stands and they all ganged up on Ging calling him a shit father.
i personally think that ging knew of the nen vow that Gon made. I also think ging knows something about nen vows that we don't. My crackhead theory is that it's actually possible to make a nen vow that affects someone else, and that Ging made something of a vow of "as long as my son has questions of this world, he will always be able to use nen" or something similar giving gon INSANE nen potential. So then it becomes his job as a father to set up constant intrique and mystery. Like when he told gon that he still has nen, and that he should live a normal life. That's out of character for someone who constantly questions the world and seems bored to death of normal life. I think he purposely did that so that gon has a "normal" life and gets bored, then questions the world, thus igniting the nen vow again. Odds of that actually being the case -95% chance, but hey, I can dream.
Yeah I was wondering whether Netero chose them bc they look like a zodiac animal or He had them dressed up after they had been chosen as the zodiacs. Bc it felt stupid that the horse zodiac actually looks like a horse, and for the other zodiacs too.
Ellitheus in the anime it says the zodiacs were so grateful of their nickname that they actually change their bodies to match whatever zodiac they were so what we see of them now isn’t what they actually look like

Pariston is the absolute scariest character in this world. That includes every single chimera ant too. That includes the king of NGL cause pariston is doing it all for fun no end goal just for fun even 4th prince can't spell is in 2nd or at best tied for 1st.
Ging does things for fun to. What makes Pariston more dangerous is he likes it when people hate him so he would go out of his way to cause harm just for that. Someone that is willing to do harm since he wants people to dislike him is scary.

Gyro cares for his team, in fact Ikalgo and Welfin are loyal to him, whereas Pariston hurts the people he loves... Pariston is definetely scarier and more dangerous.

So yeah i think pariston could go as far as physical torture if he so chooses and if he is in the mood . And that is what is so scary about him is you never know when he decides to do that . This dark side is hinted at multiple times by both ging and mizai , the whole point of ging joining beyond's team is to disrupt whatever plans pariston has for the upcoming DC expedition because he knows how messed up of a person he can be. And we're talking about the same ging who literally ignores EVERYTHING that doesn't hurt him directly , including the Chimera ants crisis but he still feels like he needs to act in this case with pariston , it just goes to show that pariston is a dangerous person that needs to be reigned down. Sure ging also wanted to go the DC as well but he didn't have to so actively oppose pariston if that's all he joined beyond for . this side of pariston is also further shown by his clear motivation to utilise the Chimera cocoons for some fuckery in the near future. and knowing pariston nothing good can come from that.

Star Platinum I mean not all the zodiacs seems quite impressive. In the manga ging basically clowned on them and did things and nen abilities they’ve been study for years in a instant so I do not think his ranking was off. Netero ging and I think pariston is who u should look out far cuz I don’t think he would be a vice chairmen for no reason. Just because their the zodiac doesn’t necessarily mean their the strongest too they could have some weird abilities that aren’t super insane but tricky to beat opponents for all we know.

The same for Chrollo: he is undoubtedly a spider and is devoted to his job, but we've seen him operating solo way many times and those were the occasions that made me like him.

Hisoka was part of the group as initially introduced in their debut, and unless you've read the manga then it's what is usually thought of as the entire phantom troupe. So including Hisoka is the same, as it's how the group was initally formed. Also, the changes to the zodiac occurred only after the end of the anime, so anime-only viewers can only think of the original 12.

I'm watching the Arabic sub now. I watched the French dub couldn't make past episode 3. And then went back to hxh 1999 and watched it in Arabic dub. Terrible. English sub is always the best. Even the dub is OK.

As much as he does it for fun I think pariston inherited the will because he tells the other zodiac when he resigns as chairman “if the association gets bad under you I’ll get serious about messing with you” like saying he will takeover if things go bad. Another words he’s gonna he watching from the side making sure things go good as he doesn’t care about being chairman and he even cried at the end when thinking about netero that is why him and ging both inherited the real will.

pariston is one of my favorite characters. he is that troll you occasionally meet in video games. not the every day troll that just does everything they can to be annoying. pariston is one of the rare and refined trolls that know how to make trolling funny for people beyond just them.

I'm watching the Arabic sub now. I watched the French dub couldn't make past episode 3. And then went back to hxh 1999 and watched it in Arabic dub. Terrible. English sub is always the best. Even the dub is OK.
The Manga though is a bit hard to read. Too much writing and the art is inconsistent. So I'll wait for the anime it should be ready in 2 or 3 more years.
