As a pop music fan, "1989" made me an official Swiftie and "Reputation" was her best work to me. Definitely one of my favorite albums of all time.
Same thing for me regarding 1989. I knew about Taylor since that Kanye incident at VMA in 2009, I liked some of her songs from Red and I became a fan during 1989 era. Later, I revisited her past albums and they grew on me, especially Red.
@@Mindphaser1 I'm not a country fan, so pop-country was a gray area for me. "Red" did make me consider being a Swiftie, but I hadn't jumped ship yet.
her best work? as a pop album, yes. but nowhere near as poetic or well-written as folklore or evermore. it’s still incredibly well-made as a pop album

I especially love 1989 ,AND maybe a bit of Red ❤but personally midnights and folklore are my go_tos especially the 3am edition

I really loved dancing with our hands tied, but I like the badass kind of Taylor, you know, so like the love-ish for example king of my heart, a little bit of delicate, And endgame. Which are all bangers for real (delicates my favorite song in reputation) but like bad ass Taylor, in ready for it, look what you made me do, don’t blame me, and TIWWCHNT are just some of my favorites, and I really like her bringing out that side of her lol I got so excited when I heard vigilante sh*t Was that side of her again!!!
@@Swiftieland-repslays I really like a mix of both. For the love songs, I like when the emotional vulnerability seeps through, which is why I’m not that big of a fan of Delicate and especially King Of My Heart. They stay closer to the surface and don’t really cut deep , they don’t make you feel as much. (at least for me) I also think DWOHT uses the dark-techno production that Reputation centers around very well to create an anxious psychedelic feel that only brings the incredible lyrics to the next level. CIWYW is a close second on the love side of rep. For the badass stuff, I really like it when it’s more poised, controlled, and dark. I love Getaway Car, don’t blame me and I did something bad do a very good job too. Ready for it’s a little all over the place, and lymmd is obv repetitive, but they’re still good. I Don’t rly like TIWCHNT bc it doesn’t fit any of those things I like for a badass song. But I still like the two sides of reputation equally, I just prefer the execution of some over others

I feel like, with Lover, people can't look past Me!, or You Need t Calm Down to see how good the album truly is.
i just don’t like the production. the acoustic versions of DBATC and cornelia street make me want to rank it higher but those aren’t on the album ☠️ for reference my sonic pallete favors better than revenge, haunted, the story of us, red, state of grace, forever and always, and basically most things with enough anger, drum fills, and electric guitar

The best ranking I saw so far. Rep is my personal fav (then 1989 and TTPD), but EVERMORE IS SO GOOD! YES! It's always been better than folklore for me, both such masterpieces, stunning, but evermore is just THAT GIRL, LIKE. Coney Island is BRUTTALLY UNDERRATED and it's literally my fav from evermore. Loved your ranking and love your videosss

I found out about Taylor swift through shake it off and at the time i was like 14 years old and i loved it and my love for her music has increased, am not one of those fans who purchase her physical music but i do love it and STYLE is my favorite song of hers ,and 1989,REPUTATION. From reputation i love New year's day coz its just so easy to sing.

midnights deserved MOREEE WTH omar this album made me fall in love with Taylor again!! the Great War, WCS, maroon, lavender haze, vigilante shit, karma, labyrinth, midnight rain, yoyo, for me honestly is one of her best albums and the concept>>>>> give at least the great category bc for me its a flawless, better than 1989 for sure bestieee. I just think with scything yk the eras tour and the rerecordings people is giving attention to all tay albums, not just midnights

to be clear, Fearless TV is an amazing album and I don’t hate it. It’s just not for me. I just somehow find myself liking debut more than fearless. honestly it’s just the vibes- obviously lyrics in fearless songs are 100x better.
Same thing with reputation & midnights, both are great albums but I find myself liking selective songs more than the whole album.
I listen to 1989, Sn, and folklore top to bottom on repeat. 😂

I agree with most of it, except I'd probably put 1989 at 'great'. I also stream Lover top to bottom and have somehow stopped doing that for Midnights, so hard agree there too. Also I joined the Swiftie wagon with evermore, but it was 'happiness' that got me hooked. It helped me process some tough stuff, and I'll never get over it. Which makes me realise I stream folklore more often than evermore now, so I should probably go back to it again 😅
I knew of Taylor swift songs before and I liked them. But I became an official swifter when I heard her album red. Soon after I heard 1989 and reputation which I love!!!

I never was a Taylor Swift hater, I just kind of didn’t pay attention to her music, but I knew about the amount of hate she was getting and decided not to dive into it. I used to be a casual listener if Taylor Swift, had some pretty mainstream songs like Blank Space and We are never getting back together. My playlist was quite small back then and Taylor Swift was only a very small part of it. I open CZcams on my laptop and on my recommended, a Taylor Swift song, titled ‘…ready for it?’. Get absolutely bass blasted, take off my headphones, put the speakers to max and vibed like I was having a seizure. The part where her face is overlayed with the red light and glitching effect always gets me. If you check my song downloads, it says 2.37GB of space used. You check the individual artists and you see Taylor Swift, at 1.2GB. Safe to say she infected my playlist in literally 2 months, and I know too many song lyrics. It is now a 16 and a half hour playlist. I am got converted so damn quick. My current obsessions are I bet you think about me, All to well 10 min version, Wildest dreams, You’re losing me, Fortnight and most of all, Guilty as Sin. That song is infectious, nice to see that you started dancing at the bridge. 😅🥴
What do you have against speak now?
I would switch midnights and evermore and folklore with reputation. Those 2 and 1989 are sooo good
