Another great video, with me personally, I can push out loops all day, but the second I need to arrange it and add variation throughout I just freeze up
wow RC20 really has an impact on Lo-Fi characters. Since I started producing Lo-Fi, I've never used it. Thank you for always making video tutorials so that many people can learn and be inspired.
I've been following you on SoundCloud for a while and really love the production of your tracks. Today I thought I should see if you are on CZcams and I see you just uploaded the very type of video I was hoping to find!! I've got to try the foley technique next time for sure!
great video as always :) it's funny you struggle with the basic idea the most but find it easy to arrange tracks :D for me the inital idea comes together quite fast but I always struggle with arranging to keep it simple but still have the track being interesting enough trhoughout and having enough story and character in form of leads and main melody without looping all the time
Thanks Mondo! It's always nice to see how other producers make beats. I for one, tend not to start with ambiance, but I will definetely try it out and see if it inspires me to make something different.
thank you for this video. it's so helpful to see your workflow! i'd love to see a video that takes what you've made in this one and turns it into a full track
Very nice beginners guide, If only i had something like this when i started ! And yes, I'm curious to see you mess with a loop. As usual, thanks a lot for sharing this, cheers !
This is exactly what I needed. Been trying to create some LoFi songs for about 3 months now and this has helped so much. Thank you can’t wait to check out more of your videos
Helpful video. I'd be interested in seeing a video (or two or three) on how you move that idea into a full song that holds the listener's interest across its full length.
Love this, these kind of videos are always so helpful especially when you’re stuck in a rut like I’ve been lately, thanks for the content! Definitely would love a video on turning loops into tracks!
I sometimes use the RC20 directly on the master but I generally never turn on the reverb and I'm not confindent in wobble/flux and magnetic, it fell so weird, but maybe cause is on master, use it just on a group with the bass as well seems very smart! Also I very love the Vinil from Rc20 is so interesting with follow and duck there are lot of interesting texture you cna add to the mix! and I love how much softly you add hihats! Very useful video as always Mondo
Great vid, very helpful!👍 Were the hats muted by accident or just super low? I could hardly hear them at all? Also, I'd really like a chord video with the voicings, embellishments, rythmns, etc. I can make 7 chords fairly easily but they never sound quite right. I noticed you break your chords up quite a bit and I have tried this but again never quite get the sound right.
Hey buddy! As I'm familiar with the process to get to a full sounding loop, I would really love to see your approach and tips on how you develop that into an interesting track :)
Hey bro! Not sure if you saw the latest video but you won the competition! Could you drop me an email on mondoloops@gmail.com so I can arrange the prize, thanks!
Definitely, a video on turning loops into whole songs/song arrangement in general would be amazing! Any further advice on decision making or even dealing with perfectionism would be amazing! I once read a comment of yours saying that you do find yourself going through multiple ideas before settling on one. As a beginner I'm often so overwhelmed by options that most tracks actually end up unfinished which is a shame. If you have any tips here I'm sure it would help a lot of people. Also 'Ableton Live Lite' hehe
Software aside (which us awesome) - you can grab a Mexican made Fender 2nd hand cheap and a Peavey Solid state amp for about £50 these will both probably last a lifetime if you learn yo repair them and will allow you to have infinite cleanish jazz tone guitar leads for life you stack with effects Software or pedals.
Re-Upload due to issue with first Vid - Apologies!
Here it is - RC-20 (disregard the message on your tape VST video) :) This is a great guide to starting a lofi track 👌
this is something that I struggle with too, once I have a loop or an idea down, it's a smooth journey from there!!
Love what you do man! Super grateful that you choose to share your knowledge. Please never stop.

Oh wow I've got to try the foley technique next time for sure!
Your channel has been a huge help in my progression towards making the lofi music I fell in love with, thank you for it all!
Def a “from loop to full track” dude :D
How did I not know about the Imagiro piano before now? You'd think more people would be talking about it!
For me, Foley percussion and field recordings are a big part of the vibe of LoFi. They give a track a huge hit of nostalgia.
An excellent insight into your workflow!
great video as always :)

Can you do a video on kicks in lofi or do you think this topic is too specific?
Definitely, a video on turning loops into whole songs/song arrangement in general would be amazing!
Any further advice on decision making or even dealing with perfectionism would be amazing!
