  • In this vlog, I have shared some LLM in Canada research that I had done. I always state specifically that each individual has a different situation and should evaluate accordingly.
    If you have any other relevant points share in the comment section, information should always be for free.

    Hi Shireen,
    Yes you are right, this information is not available easily on internet and even if it is available it's all scattered around. Secondly, it was a very good way to start a video with your jogging track. Finally all the caveats that you have mentioned are the key factors and I am sure this will help a lot.

    Hello, your videos have been really productive and have almost genuinely helped sort out my problem but I’m still unsure about a tiny detail..as you have said applying for pr before the Llm would be very cost efficient rather than paying the huge sum which is of course my plan but I just needed your insight if it’ll be safer to apply for a pr in my home country then move to Canada and apply for the university of my choice, this has really been my problem and I don’t know if you could talk about this maybe a pros and cons video on both routes so people like me can be expressly clear on the safer option for one to take, thank you

    Ma’am I’ve done my five years law degree from India and going to pursue International business management in my initial year and then another year I’ll pursue business law? Will that be helpful in NCA or lawyer profession?

    Hey Shireen, thanks a lot for theses amazing videos, they help a lot, keep up the good work.
    Can LLM (common law) be done rather then taking NCA exams?? Will the LLM (CL) be useful as a specialisation then? Or the NCA exams should have been cleared itself in India before immigrating to Canada; LLM afterwards.
    Also can you suggest or advice the 3rd (B.A. LLB) year student some things, courses, tips, anything that would be useful after completing the 5 years of degree. Things that might improve the resume or anything you thing would be helpful & help in immigration straight out of law school. Also is internship while studying counted as work experience?

      Hello there, What you should keep in mind that in order to work in Canada you need an immigration status. So if you are able to get your PR first then consider giving NCAs, if you wana come to Canada first and then pursue law, make sure you take up a worthy course.
      Also, internship is good for your CV

      @@ShireenKapoorfirst of all thanks a lot. What could be convenient & better carrier wise; taking the NCA exams or going for LLM Common law program that itself covers the NCA exams??

    • @ShireenKapoor
      @ShireenKapoor  Před 4 lety +2

      @@SuperSahibpreet Since immigration is not an issue fo ryou, start as a law clerk or legal assistant maybe in Canada and side by side do the NCA exams. I could be wrong but that my suggestion, that practical experience is more appreciated here.

      Shireen Kapoor Ma’am i have scored 70% marks in Llb from Panjab University Chandigarh. Do you think with these marks i’ll be able to get into LLM in canada or do i need more marks?? I am asking this because almost every consultant told me that with less than 90% it is impossible to get admission.
