So...in one session, you became magical, left your squad, dispatched a brigand, got maul by a bear, took it's hide, showed off in front of the king and got yourself exiled, got a friend to abandon his post, got more guards exiled, and was almost assassinated. You're now homeless, jobless, damn near broke and and now a mysterious druid telling you you are to save the world!?! Yeap, you're in for one helluva adventure.

I’m so glad your playing through this game. I backed this 3 1/2 yrs ago and I’m just slightly ahead of you at the beginning of chapter 2. This game is so immersive with the narration, and the game system is slick as you like. But the fact that I can it to the table in 10 mins is incredible (Frosthaven has been put away…for now). Keep the plays coming, you’re energy and enthusiasm just adds to the experience.

Great video! Hope you will continue the story 😊 and to help you with that, at 1:49:40 you gave yourself an extra damage instead of an extra health. So now you can start the next game even stronger 💪
1) At 1:49:40 You drew a green heart chip, but you moved your health down from 17 to 16 instead of up from 17 to 18. 2) Since Alec's (Not Alex's. Eric has already yelled at me about that. LOL) sword and shield chip is purple it doesn't count towards his draw. You got so excited upon drawing it that you never drew your next chip. 3) A little strategy advice, if you don't mind, Put more shield than sword chips into Grigori's bag. Chain into Guard rather than from it. You will make your combo's a lot easier. Also do not take the long road to Fort Istra that you indicated. You will have way too much combat, unless you are very lucky. Skirt the coast hopping from city to city and then exit out Razdor's west gate. You will still pass through enough yellow nodes to keep things exciting rather than frustrating.

When it says to add 2 blue cubes, you actually add 2 blue cubes. You have plenty of them. You need to do that because in the future there might be both guard and enemy abilities that interact with those blue cubes.

1:28:15 before you end a fight u should spend all of your chips. Putting more green chips in your bag makes you stronger for the next fight. At 1:46:05 don’t forget you can turn two swords into a shield or two shields into a sword.
do you think that maybe putting some hole punch reinforcement labels in between the lux and sil dials might provide enough friction to stop that spinning? Just pop out the little black buttons and add a couple of those reinforcements then pop it back together again. I did that for my Gloom haven dials a while back and it helped.
For once, I'm ahead of you. I'll be interested to see how you play going forward. Not sure, you'll want to show the entire campaign on camera as you'll find, you fight a lot of the same fights many times. That Assassin fight was one of the toughest in the game, all the way to near the end of Chapter 3. Having a lot of fun with it so far.
Yeah that assassin fight came down to the end I was super worried we were not going to make it. I also put it on hard difficulty by reading the card wrong lol. Yes we shall see how much I put on camera if we do fight the same things a lot I might not show the whole fight we shall see. 😃😃👍
Sorry for so many corrections. At 50:23, when you drawn 2 more chips due to the chain, those are drawn as normal and only black chips count. Otherwise it would say so specifically on the card (all chips count for this draw) and you will see that in the future.
I really like the combat system. You have to set you attacks up (activating the cards) and then wait for the right moment to strike (pull the correct pogs). The story is great as well (see previous comment). However, I think League of Dungeoneers is more my style.
I agree that the combat system is more tactical then I thought it would be. Glad you enjoyed it and LoD is a fun game as well. I feel they are definitely different enough for me for sure. Love the story!!! 😃😃👍
Sorry. I just got back to watching the rest of your video. Next note is at 56:15. Remember what I said about blue cube interactions? Do not use blue cube like that. You should really try to get into the good habit of remembering these things, but until you are comfortable with the game rules, use another color to help you remember. Purple cubes are a good choice, since they are not used in combat and you will never use all of them.
Such a shame a game with that many nods to my native language and some neighboring ones is not available in my country... At least not on primary market.
If you are interested in owning the game join the skykingdom discord and then after the game ships they are going to sell the extra games on their website. I don’t think the game is planing to go to retail at all. Hope that helps and thanks for watching 😃😃👍
