Public speakers in 🇵🇰 are generally ignorant about history, philosophy, or any complex subject.
Here, @SyedMuzammilOFL on @Mooroo4 podcast just butchers history as he goes.
This is the reason I'm teaching a free beginner-level course on global history based on good academic 📚.
The absurd ideas that "Greeks" (idk what was he referring to? Sparta, Athens, or Macedonia?) developed "critical thinking" because geographically they are open, and that Afghanistan is conservative because it is geographically landlocked is total garbage.
      1. The geographical category of "Afghanistan" is a little more than 100 years old.
      2. The region we call Afghanistan today has occupied the centre stage of the world for 3,000 years.
      3. The Silk Roads, the organic trade routes that connects Eastern Pacific with the Mediterranean is the region where the greatest civilizations of the world were born and flourished (Mesopotamia, Banylonian, Persia empires)
These trade routes are 3,000 years old.
      )):map
      4. The northern region of Afghanistan has always been a flourishing centre because it is situated along these trade routes. All the materials from the East or West crossed modern-day Afghanistan.
      5. And contrary to the nonsensical claim, Afghanistan had absorbed the influences of many great civilizations of the past.
The Greek culture, Buddhism, Judaism, Christianity and Islam.
Even today there are 9th century Graveyards with Hebrew inscriptions on them.
      )).Map
      6. This region through which the Silk routes passes have been the center of the world for millenia.
The rise of the western European nation-states is a recent phenomenon and quite an unexpected one.
      7. Plus, the category of Europe itself is a problem as it is a newly invented geographical category. Jean Monet aka The Father of Europe was the one who came up with this term. Before that it was Christendom where identity was primarily derived from religious affiliations.
      8. Since the heart of Asia was the center of the world, it was natural that Alexander the Great would conquer Asia and not Western which offered nothing at all.
Here is the expedition of Alexander the Great. Cities like Alexandria, Kabul, Jalalabad were built by& named after him.
      )))map n image
      9. The Southern Europe is not organically related to Western Europe.
The British, French Germans are not the true heirs of Greek civilization, nor are they related to the Roman empire.

I wonder do they really not realize that they have literally destroyed Urdu/Hindi by constantly, relentlessly mixing English words. Might seem minor to you but in social/psycho-behavioral sciences there is a reason for this syndrome.
If they were using only English, I would know its for international reach, but you see its not that its plain old S-Syndrome.

(The instant thing I did after listening to this podcast was to write a paragraph to my friend about how this and other podcasts changed my life. Therefore, I'd like to share it with you lot)
*How to change your life through listening to podcasts.*
Firstly, listening to podcasts has indeed changed my perspective on how to shape things and form an opinion throughout my life. I have subjectively developed critical thinking through listening to podcasts. It has given me the power to think outside the box; the will to criticize if one opposes other's opinion peacefully and think rationally; debate on controversial issues so one can expand their knowledge; get to know more about *others* and not just get along with the cancel culture that has been going on. I love the idea of a "podcast" as it doesn't involve the political agenda of using mainstream media for their gain and the paradigm itself differs entirely from the news channels. Furthermore, It is unprecedented and this idea has been innovated in this decade or so. Consequently, I'd encourage others to watch productive podcasts about AI or the future. However, if you wanna go in deep I will suggest Syed Muzamil if you're intrigued to political science, Jordan B Peterson to learn about philosophy or religion, and Joe Rogan as I adore how he invites intellectual individuals on his podcast. Lastly, if you don't like to watch podcasts; take my word and read books. 💓

@@DingDong-lh4ixI saw your same comment on another video where he’s lecturing in Peshawar. Seems like you’re obsessed with him. And there’s nothing wrong in being a centrist except for cases like wars and crisis. He’s a journalist and it’s okay if he’s a centrist.
