    We should celebrate rainfall it has life giving properties.
    Clearly this flooding is rife in built up areas which suggests we dont have or build proper drainage.
    We need wide and clear storm gutters. All this water could be put to good use when the rain is not falling.

    If we should not be throwing rubbish in the gutters, if we should not sit for the government to do almost everything for us, if only we should just keep the country clean I bet this wouldn't happen.

    A couple of weeks back, one of the Ghanaian utubers, had posted that. The floods in Accra, doesn’t happen in Takoradi. I’m surprised to see this .

    It's sad, but no one should criticise akufo addo, because if you do, he may indirectly pick up some good ideas which he doesn't deserve...

      Interesting thought process.
      But that would make us like him & the political elite. I for one cannot stand to see my countrymen continue to suffer. So if their relief is dependent on my ideas bring stolen so be it !

    Even some parts of Europe are flooding so what's the big deal about some parts of Ghana flooding. Even Dubai is flooding.Stop the insults and stop throwing rubbish into gutters and littering the streets. It's common sense.

      Comparing Dubai to Europe and both of the two countries to Ghana. You are a joke! It's a disgrace that a natural resource rich country like Ghana still fails to have proper infrastructure. Can you say you are proud of this dirty, poor nation?

      @vaddo5079 Pƙed 27 dny +1

      The big deal you don't have nice big markets and in Europe women don't sit by the roadside under umbrella selling in the rain poor Africans being treated like Ani

      you're ignorant of the the drainage systems in these countries .If you experience their type of rains?

    Stop this nonsense.this is normal even advanced countries have more than this

      As i said to someone else. That is such a hawa koomson type response.
      We are not other countries we are Ghana. Because it happens elsewhere we should accept it ?
      Ghana has frequent torrential downpours these are not catastrophic downpours that occur once every three decades
      For this reason proper planning should prevent, reduce or mitigtate its effects.

      you're ignorant of the fact that the levels of rains there is not like the small one
