I have always loved Trisha's voice, and now I've added Matraca to my song list...so beautiful and soulful!! I first heard about the Bluebird Cafe by watching the netflix series "Nashville", as an Aussie I had no idea it was a real place, thought it was just another fictional, made-up-for tv place...so glad it know it's real...definitely going on the bucket list!!
Problem with Matraca is she's better than everyone else in Nashville and deserves a wider audience., so damn real and earthy, a beautiful uniquely talented song writer whom i consider one of the very best we've ever had. glad she's making money from the songs she wrote for some Nashville " heavy weights" wish she would release a new cd once a year.
I love Matraca's voice and songs so much! But Trisha is the best interpreter of these wonderful songs other than Matraca -- with her classy, smooth, thoughtful delivery. She has the best taste in arrangements and production!
