    Recipe
    Ingredient
    Coriander seeds 1-Tablespoon
    Fennel seeds 1-Tablespoon
    Cumin seeds1-Tablespoon
    Black cardamom 5
    Cinnamon sticks 2 to 3
    Cardamom pods 10 whole
    Black pepper corns 1-Tablespoon
    Cloves 1-Tablespoon
    Star anise 4 to 5
    Dried Red chilies 5 to 6
    Bay leaves 5 to 6
    Dried pomegranate seeds 1-Tablespoon
    Fenugreeks leaves 1-Tablespoon
    Mace 2 to 3 strands
    Red chili powder 1-Tablespoon
    Turmeric powder 1-Tablespoon
    chili flakes 1-Tablespoon
    Method
    Add all these ingredients to the pan and roast till fragrant
    Roast on lower flame for 2-3min
    TO AVOID BURN, KEEP THE BURNER ON LOWER FLAME
    After roasting the spices transfer to plate and cool
    Blend / sieve to remove impurities /
    Add red chili powder, turmeric powder and chili flakes
    stir and biryani masala is ready to be used
    Storing tips
    Store in airtight container to avoid moisture
    Can be stored for up to 12 months
