Thank you all for the love. I'm Melissa Miller, I sang lead on Never Satisfied. Good 2 Go still keeps in touch. I still sing. We love all our fans XOXO
hey melissa whats up i loved this song back in 1992!! Even loved your performance on Soul Train to in 1992.. My mom taped it for me..lol What. kind of music you sing these days?
Please come back! There is an "I love the 90s tour" that would be a perfect venue. This has always been one of my favorite albums. I remember seeing your group on Showtime at the Apollo.
Vffr1 WOW,your voice was awesome, your group was very talented! I hope you all plan to record something soon, that is awesome that you are still singing.
Back when you taped songs off the radio, and the DJ would piss you off because he/she talked over a majority of the song you waited all day for them to play....
47 year old black man, me and my girlfriend used to listen to this video while we talked on the phone back in 1992, that was the year i thought my 16 year old behind was grown and hit the streets, this song is forever a part of life ✌🏾
@@Estelle738lMore like soulless. This was when they were appropriating and trying to gentrify r&b and move in on the market to pull the attention and high (Blk) dollar that was going to R&B that was distinct to (Blk) people. Just like many other genres (and things outside of music). They don't come in it to appreciate, share, and support what already existed. They come to take it over (own/steal it). It's like people really don't learn from history (and present). 🤦🏿♂️
i remember everyone flipped when they found out these ladies were white. But i give em they props they killed it wit this sing. my gf at da time had tha cd. it was pretty good.
I remember this song from 1992 I was in middle school at the time brings back memories. These ladies should be on the show UNSUNG because they are really UNSUNG!. This group really could've went places in the music world
One of my favorite songs from '92. This song should have done better than #10 R&B, #64 Pop on the billboard. These woman was plagued by poor marketing from Giant Records. If you listen to one of the lead singers (Natalie Fernie), she explained how Giant Records pushed them to the backburner and they were eventually dropped. Such a shame, these ladies had potential. Big ups to the great Cliff Winston and the crew formally of 92.3 (KKBT) for playing the full version of this track.
Good 2 Go was a female R&B/dance vocal group from Los Angeles, consisting of Melissa Miller, Natalie Fernie, Kathy Webb, Cindy Shows and Missy Newman. They scored a one-hit wonder with their single "Never Satisfied," which peaked at #64 on the Billboard Pop Singles and at #10 on Billboard's R&B chart in 1992. The group released only one album, a self-titled release on Giant Records.
2020 and im still playing this song loud as hell at wrk... Oh well,,, my co workers get mad but they are too young to even know good music nowadays 💯💯💯
Wow I'm 40 & this my first time hearing the original song, i played it in the Band in Jr High & High School at football games & Mardi Gras in New Orleans... nice song
I remember that band because they used to play their single never satisfied back on Philadelphia based WIOQ Q102 over 30 years ago when I was 10 a young adult during the time when they were still playing the single.
This band didn’t get the attention it deserved. I was in love with these girls and the video would be the last song on BETs video playlist. And in 1992, you couldn’t get the album. Still good memories and a great time in my life.
There was nothing like those New Jack Swing cords and this song had them. I still have this cassette in a shoebox (how we used to store them) at the crib. Also these girls reminded me of some of my classmates in HS. LOL!
It was the summer of "92" my bestie and I would sit in her house while her parents were at work and watch video soul. They'd show this video. I loved it I went out and copped the single right away
Yes !!! when I was in middle school, I heard the Dudley High School Band (Greensboro, NC) playing this song. I was sold on the idea of being a Dudley Panther from that point on!!! Loved the song and love the band. Look them up, the band is undefeated!!!
This song just popped up in my head because it’s Christmas, I have little kids, and they are never satisfied. I put this song on and told them to listen because it described them
Good 2 Go’s Never Satisfied was a beautiful song I used to listen to a lot. I wish this song could be bought from the iTunes Store. I can’t find the track to add to my playlist on my iPhone. I’m disappointed that I can’t get the song at this time unless I listen to it on CZcams.
Admittedly, I was not aware of the original song (I was 7 when this song debuted), but became aware when when my high school band director arranged this for us (based off the Southern University arrangement). This and "It's Real" by James Ingram were our high school marching band's signature songs.
1992 I was 16 going on 17 in high school. Summertime I went to St. Petersburg, Florida they played this song on some radio station I can`t remember but I had a good time week. Good times I miss those days.
Honestly, I used to pretend that I hated this song back when I was 11. Today, I’m almost 40, and I like it. I’m glad to hear that they still keep in touch, and that the lead singer still sings. I would love to see girl groups from the 90s make a comeback.
I literally remember when this group came out and I saw the video for the first time… I thought the song was so dope …And as time went by and the song didn’t get recognition… I knew it was because they were white and Trying to break into an industry that was Still very segregated…It was similarly difficult for Black people to get play on MTV… America has been and unfortunately still is very racist and stupid… I used to sing this song all the time and I honestly felt like if someone like SWV had have released it …it would’ve been a hit....sad
Babbbyyy I use to JAM this song back in the day! And yes I was one of those I was shocked when I found out they were white.😳 But it was a plus! I don't think we were ready for them back then, because alot of people couldn't accept the fact they were white girls that sound black. I remember having the single cassette! 🥴🤣 Wow! This shows the times! #memories
Actually higher end tape decks did have the feature to rewind and stop at the blank space before a song start and some even let you skip multiple tracks to get to what you wanted to hear. It wasn't instant playback but it worked.
