For sure.
What is the advantage of doing a 2 and skipping a sidewall hole instead of doing two 1s and not skipping a sidewall hole?
The ones begin the transition to pocket depth, while the twos provide the deepest part of the pocket. If you were to do ones vs two, your pocket wouldn’t have the nice acute gradual depth and would most likely be more rounded through the pocket’s depth.
